Any examples of what the side mission content is? Just beat up more thugs at a certain location? Combat rooms? One in done missions or actual storylines?

I'm definitely going to get the handheld version at some point, but for now I can only afford one, and I'm infinitely more excited for the console game. But this decision is really hard, each platform has its perks:

PC - best performance
PS3 - trophies, exclusive maps
Wii U - cheaper, Off-TV play, most immersive experience IMO (map on the GamePad, hearing Batman's radio through the controller's speakers)

I really wish the reviews were out; they would make this decision so much easier. I want to know how well it runs on Wii U as opposed to PS3. Part of me thinks it will run better on Wii U because the dev had experience with the system (they ported AC last year), and we all know the PS3 isn't the easiest system to develop for.

I'm guessing the iOS game doesn't connect to PC right?

Game sounds good from what people in here are saying. Arkham City 2.0 is fine by me.

talking about the next game, I would like to see a more open world structure.
I think we've had enough of games that take place in 1 night/day or stuff like that.
WOuld like to see something similar to mgsv: game takes place in a different time span, maybe with a night and day cycle(or at least some instance where you are bruce).
There really is not enough time with the current structure of the game, for a more complex character development.

It was Victor Zsasz. You find that out when you are doing his side missions in Arkham City.

Hopefully its all tied to the WBID and it doesn't matter what system you play on.

i really dislike the fact that they are forcing us to choose between preorder DLC and actually knowing if the game is good or not before purchase

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but we got our copies of the Wii U version today, and I noticed two things about it:

1) The Deathstroke DLC is featured, and is downloadable
2) Human Head worked on the port in some capacity

One thing I don't understand - is the Deathstroke DLC actual campaign sections or missions like Catwoman in AC? Or is it just Deathstroke challenge maps to play?

Am I going to be missing out on unlocking stuff because I don't own any Apple devices? It's annoying enough that I'm losing out on content just because I'm not getting the PS3 version of the game, it's gonna suck to miss out on even more just because I don't have a fucking iPad/Pod/Phone.

Oh sorry. I got confused, it was actually another guy at the iceberg lounge who was caught cheating.

From the Arkham City Wiki...
The Iceberg Lounge is where many of the Penguin's illicit deals happened--he financially ruined a young Victor Zsasz by cheating at cards and, one night, he caught a man cheating the house and ordered him tortured in front of the crowd as an example. A friend of the victim picked up a glass liquor bottle and shoved the broken bottle into the Penguin's face, giving him an appearance of always wearing a twisted monocle. Because it's set into the bone all around his eye, no doctor will attempt to remove it because of the probably fatal results of doing so. The Penguin decided he doesn't mind it too much.

Yeah, it was like *RING RING RING * fuck you man I got more important things to do.

Then when I want to get back to the important things again *RING RING RING*. At least that time I ended up just wrapping up his stupid missions. This sequence just before
returning with Ra's Al Ghul's blood to make the cure, naturally.

Looking through the "unlockables" section on the iOS game this is what I see you can get in the console/PC version:

Cobblepot package
Cobblepot satchel
Cobblepot case
Cobblepot premium container
Cobblepot premium crate

I really miss the awesome level design from Rocksteady (Indoor levels). When it comes to great (memorable) level design Origins isn't as good as City or Asylum .

edit: I really hate the fact that Origins doesn't have riddles. I miss the scan....really.

Hope they're unlockable by alternative means... whatever they are (last one is certainly a skin, but the rest I'm kinda stumped on their purpose).

He may just be stating that it's not unusual to have a preference and that he agrees. Doesn't make him out and out wrong if he likes AA more than AC.

But he didn't say that "it's a commonly shared opinion. I like AA more than AC too." He said "it's known" and that AA "shits all over" AC. Not the same as saying he likes one more than the other.

Are some trophies for challenge maps again and the medals? Hope not. Only reason I haven't got platinums for AA and AC. I'm like 75% done on both games, just have no motivation to do those. How about for completing the game again for new game plus? Loved that in AC, that is when I used another costume. Since I'm getting knightfall, I'll use the Halloween costume or whatever its called for the 2nd time.

It's one thing to say you like AA better. To say that it "shits all over" the other game is something else entirely.

I should really spend some time on AC tomorrow evening. I only have a few Nightwing Predator challenges, and campaigns to finish to get my last 2 achievements.

I couldn't finish asylum, played maybe 2-3 hours and got bored. Loved arkham city and sped through it, that game was so much better in every way.

edit: After 5 minutes I found some players, yay !

edit 2: Nice, game crashed.

edit 3: Restartet, now I'm stuck in the loading screen. Crashed again. Yep, there's something wrong with the MP

I just treated it as hyperbole, almost all of us are guilty of that from time to time and it wasn't like he put down people for liking AC more or anything.
