Batman V Superman Final Trailer

That trailer certainly helped rebuild some enthusiasm for the movie. Unlike some others here, I'm just as interested in seeing more from Superman/Cavill. The scene with Amy Adams suggests he'll not be all scowls.

This movie will be like episode 7, it doesn't even have to be good and it will be one of the top 5 highest grossing films of all time.

and it won't be good, just like Force Awakens

You are in the minority if you think the Force Awakens is not good.

The first part of the trailer with Batman kicking ass was great. The rest bothers me, though.

Having now seen three different trailers for this, I really can't grasp the tone of the film.

I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being all over the place.

Haven't kept track of how many times I've seen the opening Batman fighting clips from the trailer. That right there is Batman/Bruce Wayne, not Ben Affleck!

I dunno if this has been pointed out before but is that the Nolan Tumbler Batmobile hanging out in the Batcave?

Just keep re watching it and getting hyped to hell every time. As awesome as it is getting excited about the Batman scene I just know Superman and Wonder Woman will get their equally awesome moments. Man this movie will rock so hard just on action alone, the rest just has to be tolerable.

DCU started with the Nolan trilogy confirmed.

Yeah "superhero landing" is about to become 2016's "lens flare."

"Here's a thing that by my pointing it out loudly after someone pointed it out to me makes my criticism that much more sophisticated and worthy of your time."

"LENSFLARELENSFLARELENSFLARESHAKYCAMLENSFLARESHAKYCAM...

....SUPERHEROLANDING!"

What is superhero landing?

Basically the "ground pound" a lot of videogames use when the character leaps from high up and lands hard on one knee and a fist down into the ground often creating a crater and shockwave.
That's like in every action series with super powers ever and been around for idk how long

SuperHero Landing has been prominent

Sure. Just like lensflares and handheld camera were prominent in lots of other directors filmographies, too.

But you're about to get a whole bunch of people who only suddenly, simultaneously, decided it's a thing to consistently point out as being "lame" after this Monday.

It's not because they put a lot of thought into it, is what I'm saying.

I hate this. It's not even just an internet thing. I have a bunch of coworkers who suddenly develop strong opinions based on recent trends that they've totally had for a long time.

I'm more familiar with it from videogames myself since I remember games like Prototype having trailers focused around this very move which was years before the Superhero movie crazy really took off. Not saying they didn't make it big or what not, I've seen it for a while now.

Please kill superman and make him the bad guy. And then bury him and never talk about him again. Then this movie will be rad!

Did not expect this out of a person with a yoshi avatar, unless it's satire.

I wonder what people dislike about Superman in comparison to the 200 other flying bricks out there. It's a great mystery to me.

3-point landings are just cool. At some point somebody thought "what's the coolest way to land from a fall? Rolling forward is for chumps." and evidently most people feel the same way. Impractical? Sure, but you can't look cool by being practical.

Woo! Superhero landing! You know that's really hard on your knees. Totally impractical, they all do it.

Could do without the dramatic head lift that usually follows though.

I'm pretty sure 3 point landings come from Wushu. Jet Li was doing them for years before Superhero movies were even a thing.

Just wait until they find out about blue and orange lighting.
