Surprised no one has over-analysed WW's line to say she'll be really bad/really good.
I think people are just thrilled they showed her speaking at all.

Purely anecdotal, but the guys sitting next to me earlier today during a screening of The Force Awakens said, "That looks fucking stupid," upon viewing the BvS trailer. This after reacting positively to the Gods of Egypt trailer. This is their target audience, ffs.

First it was Batman back when Ben was cast. Then it was about how shitty Wonder Woman was going to be with Gadot. Then until recently it was Eisenberg who was miscast and was totally gonna fuck up Luthor.Surprised no one has over-analysed WW's line to say she'll be really bad/really good.
This part is so cool.

This trailer was pretty good, unlike the previous trailers. But if I didn't know better I'd think it was a Batman movie where Superman has a cameo.
Supes needs to hit the gym. Just got embarrassed by a grumpy old man.
Supes: If I wanted it, YOU"D BE DEAD ALREADY!
Bats: bitch you thought
My boy was S.H.O.O.K
Who the hell would be a bad guy in this universe? Death sentence.

Really? I
You sure Bobby? It's late and you're probably tired. Let's talk about this tomorrow.
Can someone add the following caption to this gif, pls?:
BATMAN HAS PREP TIME AND
SHIT JUST GOT REAL

That is the look of someone that realizes prep time is at hand. Batman always pwns Supes... ALWAYS. Give Bats enough time to prepare and he can take out anyone and this movie is no exception.

Having Batman & Superman tussle is traditional and honestly to be expected. Any superhero meeting another superhero traditionally includes said superheroes boxing each other up a little. I don't mind that.
But when the tussle becomes the sole focal point of every aspect of the marketing, including the mandating of a shitty title, and said tussle causes over half the film's runtime to build up to it? I think that's maybe a bad call.
Basically, when you conceptualize your film starring Batman and Superman as Batman VERSUS Superman, you're not doing yourself or the characters any favors. You might still turn out something interesting, compelling, and fun. But after Man of Steel, the decision to make everything about finally getting Batman & Superman onscreen at the same time for the first time in history framed as an adversarial, angry throwdown?
That's a bad call, Ripley.
The movie might still end up fun and interesting - but that's a bad call. Not least of which being that, as we've already seen, people who don't know Batman & Superman always fight a little before becoming friends (said people do exist, I guess) will be angry and feel bait & switched that "Batman v. Superman" isn't even really about Batman fighting Superman, in the end. It's just a bad situation all around. Not an insurmountable one. But as per most of Zack Snyder's filmography, the motherfucker refuses to make it easy for himself.

I really don't understand why based on this trailer, which is just images without any real focus, people all of a sudden think this movie looks good.
