Man it feels good to finally seeing more and more of this movie, its been such a long wait. Looks great visually and I'm super excited to see the banter between Clark's with his arrogance and Bruce with his cynicism. Got a feeling the Lex we've seen is a misdirection too, he'll be all goofy in public but I'm thinking he'll be a darker character once they show you who he really is inside. Just a few more months!

Not really. While every thread has its own share of shit posters or drive-by throwaway comments, most promotional material for movies are better received than BvS. This movie, for whatever reason, has had a tepid reception on gaf. It's not because of a bias or marvel diehards, there are just more people on this board than expected that aren't impressed by these spots or the previous trailer.

That doesn't match up precisely with people in real life or even elsewhere on the internet. There's plenty of hype for this movie, albeit with a good dose of skepticism too, outside of gaf.
 
Looked much worse than expected and I was hyped during the initial trailer years ago. I don't know what happened to this film
 
I..like this suit more than any other movie iteration but it's still too beefy/chunky for my liking. Any of the previously posted Arkham suits look much better. In either case, I'm glad to finally have a grey bat suit.

The only part I don't like is the fat neck. At first, I thought it was the suit but I think Affleck just kinda has a fat neck. Otherwise, it looks pretty good, just not when shone under a bright light.

One small Edit would've made that Spot so much better..They should have showed a wide shot either Supe Flying off into the distance or a wide down shot of Bats looking up to him and instead of actually seeing bats say "You will" we would just hear a voice over...

That small edit would've cut the cheesy factor in half .

I really thought we were going to get close to this, in terms of neck to head proportions. But i understand this statue ain't exactly modeled after Affleck. At least Affleck looks better than the Hot Toys figure.

Lol what? You really need a scene to explain that batman uses a voice modulator? What are you dense? Are you retarded or something? Who the hell do you think he is? Hes the goddamn batman.

Might as well throw in a scene where it shows how Batman puts his pants on, or better yet we must see how Batman changes the oil of the batmobile, otherwise it will be disastrous.
 
I think this just reaffirms my opinion that the Batman suit, no matter the variation, looks stupid on a real person. At best it has not looked awful on someone. It's a costume that only works in the comics or animation where things like actual physics do not apply.

Batman looks like he melted in the suit, just like in the movie.

That neck part is a real failure of design. If the actor is already burly and doesn't have a long neck, you don't go and make it worse by thickening the neck on the batsuit and then giving it short ears, making its head look bigger than the body.... and having no neck.... -_- The behind the scenes shots pretty much confirms it - that the head part of the suit will look bad no matter how it's shot.

I can understand people not liking some of the trailers but it moreso seems to be some people enjoy hating anything about this movie and want it to be bad.

I'm curious, for those saying, this isn't what you wanted, what do you want specifically?
 
One thing I will say about this film: its use of color and lighting is so much better than what we got in MoS. The colors on Cavill's uniform seem to really catch my eye in a way that MoS didn't -- the bluish filter used in that movie made everything feel so drab and muted IMO.

Seriously. Superman looks so much better in this movie now that we can see the contrast of his red and blue better.

I meant what do those people want out of the movie. I agree with the most recent trailers being edited poorly, but we have people seemingly wanting the movie to do badly for their own entertainment.
