Imagine the GOP in this universe.
We got a glimpse of it in the first trailer.

i really like the idea of how they're all scared of him, and you got your racists and fear-mongering opinions etc.
but man cavill didn't show any charisma in the costume last time. it would be nice if he steps up to the plate for this movie. or else prepare for the batgawd to take lead of the justice league.

Just curious, but did everyone miss the robot voice in the last trailer? He has it when he says, "Thought she was with you" to Superman at the end. It's just a throat mic in the cowl which changes his voice slightly. Same thing Oliver uses in Arrow. That voice made sense when Bruce was in the batarmor. Now it's weird with him in the normal batsuit since it seems very digitized.
Why does Bruce need a voice changer in the same world where Clark putting on glasses works?
You guys talking shit about Batgod again?

Tell me more about these plot holes you've found.
That sure is a lot of assumptions over a 30 second tv ad that's cut the scene up into pieces. It's almost like its out of context from the rest of the movie too.there are so many things here that are just inexplicable
- why is Batman trying to run over Superman? Doesn't he know he's virtually indestructible? and if so, why the heck wouldn't he know? Great detective work there. Maybe he was testing the Batmobile's new bumpers, and if so, why go against him, he could have found a dog or a tramp to test them on
- why the hell is Superman standing still in the middle of a road at night? Screams attention whore to me. well, genius, at least do it when people are around if that's your intent
- Batman slowly getting out of the car wreck like he means businness; backfire total, it looks insanely goofy because he just wrecked his own car for basically no reason
- "Tell me, do you bleed" "No, but your tank surely is leaking more than I am"
- Superman not talking. why. say something. did Lois swallow your tongue whole
- Batman waiting for Superman to go away so he could be all menacious. Reminded me when I used to murmur some feeble insults on my father's back because I was too afraid of telling him eye to eye

Most people won't look at a 30 second tv spot with extreme scrutiny. There's no reason to. "Batman and Superman conflict? Oh that's cool. Movie comes out soon? That's cool too." Is the entire point of TV spots. It does what it's supposed to do. There's no reason to be so critical of it.sure, that however doesn't exclude the fact it's a dumb as hell mishmash of cuts to put in a trailer, because it almost doesn't make any sense
I wonder why some people even bother watching anything related to this movie when they know they're going to hate it before the clip even plays.

"Don't believe everything you hear son"
He is probably making fun of the critiques in this thread or at least that is how I took his post. That sure is a lot of assumptions over a 30 second tv ad that's cut the scene up into pieces. It's almost like its out of context from the rest of the movie too.
This is an amazing clip.
Without the spoilerific full trailer, it would have been perfect.
Being critical is fine. But there's no reason to be critical of something that we don't even have context of. How can you be critical of you have no idea how something plays out or even begins?Who cares what most people think of it? Sure, most who watch these tv spots are not going to be critical of them; that doesn't mean you can't be.
As someone who wants this movie to be good, I think both this spot and the last trailer have looked awful and disappointing, doubly so considering how good the MoS trailers were cut. I know that most people won't take any kind of critical lens to the trailer/tv spots, and yet, that doesn't sway my opinion of them at all.
That doesn't even make any sense.
"Don't believe everything you hear son" Lol like as if he's THAT much older than him. Can't wait to see them go head to head while uncovering their alter identities.
Really interested in seeing what they do with Lex because he doesn't seem far removed from any of the previous movie versions yet.

Or, how he delivered the line, "It's time you learned what it means to be a man."
Not really feeling the voice changer.
Afflecks has an amazing growling voice. In the other trailer he says "that son of a bitch brought the war...to us" in such a menacing growling voice I wish he would be just used that.
I don't get this. Batman gets up, looks Superman dead in the eye and threatens him. Superman doesn't entertain it, flies away. Batman finishes his rhetorical line, which he would've done anyway; also which Superman still probably heard."Don't believe everything you hear son"
Now that's the manly trash talking Batman I know of... not this feeble dude who throws insults once the other guy has left the block.

You're literally saying the scene is so awful (based on 20 seconds of said scene) that they should just cut it out. Even without knowing context, how it will play out, the importance to the plot etc. All out the window just because you don't like this version Lex (which you also haven't seen).
Okay.
You seem to forget that these things are subjective. For example, I find them funny. A lot of people do too. Would you prefer Batman to wise crack about making an omlette instead? So context makes poor dialogue better?
What could possibly make "BOYS!" or "YOU DON'T WANT TO PICK A FIGHT WITH THIS PERSON GET IT?" effective? How is "I THOUGHT SHE WAS WITH YOU" supposed to be funny? Both are failed attempts at humor, something I thought this movie would have very little of.
Superman is like "Look at this corny motherfucker"
