Any idea how I get rid of the BF3 Beta that's in Origin? I thought once I activated my game it would disappear but there it is like Fred Savage mole and its bothering the hell out of me.

Finally got this working on my M11x laptop after someone steered me to the nvidia beta patch for the mobile chip series and I guess that downtime before from Origin actually did something good. Jesus the load times are horrible, fucking Dice like usual, lol. I have stuttering sound issues at the beginning movie (campaign) and some spots of the level. The game was running on low settings which ok as expected on the laptop but putting it on medium settings looks better. Framerates chug though so I gotta play with the configuration a little bit more but yeah. Can't wait to jump in the multi in a few and hopefully, more patches are immediately dispatch to better optimize the game and fix some of these issues at hand.

Uhm I forgot the exact way, but I read that in your origin folder? or in your user settings is an xml where you can just disable it so that it wont show up anymore. Sadly I dont remember where that file was located.

You can delete it and then select only display those games ready to play. This is how I got it to only display Dead Space 2 and BF 3. I've got the Beta and Alpha sitting in there otherwise. Really?

This is why I wasn't worried about the exploit. They would have taken the worst PR imaginable if they tried punishing people for it.

This game looks incredible in motion! Screenshots don't do it justice. Art design is a bit uninspired at places and lighting is all JJ Abrams, making it hard to see shit, but it sure looks pretty.

Campaign has been fun so far even tho story is very generic and very reminiscent of COD BLOPS setup.
Paris section was awesome and intense! And so was the plane mission.

That too. Even worse is the SAY ALL. Just make it a slightly different colour what is said to who instead of wasting so much space.

Used these instructions to get it authenticated (I'm located in the US, EST). Just been playing the campaign so far.

Graphics are fantastic - probably the best looking game I've played. The story seems pretty overblown and melodramatic so far, but no worse than anything CoD has put out for years - basically a contrivance for various setpieces. Definitely see what people are saying about the bad AI, but if anything I would say it's somewhat uneven rather than straight up bad. At times I was getting killed over and over by guys hitting me through tiny cracks in cover, while at others I'm standing 5 feet from a guy in the open and he does nothing. However, I do think it feels a little more tactical than the CoD campaigns I've played though, and even with less than brilliant AI routines, you still need to make smart use of cover and the environment to survive. I'm enjoying stalking a smaller number of "more difficult", i.e. better aiming, enemies rather than a parade of endless cannon fodder that can't hit the broad side of a barn.

Looking forward to checking out the multi later tonight...if anyone wants to add me, I'm LuvMusl on battlelog.

Game crashes whenever I change graphics options.

Good to know beta wasn't an inaccurate representation of the stability of the game.

Have you guys seen this yet? BF3 played in a hologram (Star Trek) simulation. Player walks into a confined room/area, physically walks around to make the character walk around - gets physically hit when his virtual character gets hit.

THIS! I toned everything the fuck down so I could at least tell who's constantly killing my apart from particles and lens flares. The game manages to crash when I seem to be enjoying it.

but somebody had already taken iNvidious01 and 02, wtf.
had to opt for iNvid01, eh well

just beat the game, it was a fun ride. if you don't go into singleplayer with high expectations of a good story you will be entertained with the gunplay, set pieces, and the amazing sounds of the campaign. my gtx 580 made this game look amazing with a locked 60 FPS on ultra. Super happy with the performance.

I think the last level is glitched on me. When I jump outside of the train I do the QTE successfully but I get killed. Reload the level from the start, same issue.

Anyone else had this?

Medic, revives after revives will put you on the top of the scoreboard and also helping the team in a major way. (keeping tickets up)

Engineers are also invaluable for killing armour and air vehicles.

Didn't have that problem but my game froze on the final QTE. ><
