I'm going to make the easiest dumbfuck prediction in gaming, the "battle royale" mode is going to be a complete waste of studio time, again.

No, it's a complete waste of resources and it's so fucking pointless and retarded that, no offense, I'm not even going to elaborate why.If they dont half ass it like they did the first time, i dont think so
Atleast its not wasting the multiplayer teams time, because its another studioNo, it's a complete waste of resources and it's so fucking pointless and retarded that, no offense, I'm not even going to elaborate why.
The spotting definitely needs some work....the big problem is that It doesn't just spot enemies you look at. Even if they're just within your peripheral vision it will sometimes spot them and alert you to their presence.....so enemies that you'd normally miss because you're distracted or focused on something else will suddenly light up with a big marker on your screen.
The suppression is pretty much nonexistent. You can be spraying a sniper with a LMG and they'll still get a perfect headshot on you. Case in point:
Everybody hated suppression back in the day. You cant win with this. Same with closed vs open weapons. There are people on both sidesThey should have taken the suppression mechanics straight from BF3/4 as it worked best there. That video you posted is one of the top reasons I'm not buying the game, recon is OP and suppression should be pushing them to retreat which it doesn't. It essentially makes taking some points extremely difficult and attacking on breakthrough almost impossible, unless the entire team are well coordinated, which just isn't going to happen in a game like Battlefield.
Depends on what you're comfortable with. M&KB does have a much much skill ceiling and gives the player way more control. And you don't have to rely on aim assist which translates to all games and not specific ones. Only thing holding you back is your own aiming skill. So what is the consensus on M&KB vs Pad these days? I am much better at it with a pad but the alt feels more sharp, I dunno. Anyone with thoughts?
Is there official word? I know a gyro activation binding has been in the beta (was also in the alpha when I played it as well) but it's never worked.I'm looking forward to gyro being implemented in the retail game. It'll help a lot with fine aim on PlayStation. Hopefully it's as good as the gyro in The Finals coz that's done really well.
Call of DutyIs there a simple TEAM DEATHMATCH in this game? A mode where most kills wins? Only objective is to rack up kills????
if not whats the closest thing to it?
Look at the comments. They are so fucking stubborn. Instead of doing a server browser so everyone can find their own fun within seconds, they creating more problems with this custom search shit.

Yes, there is, it used to be called Squad Deathmatch, but it might be TDM. They replaced rush with that and all out warfare. Is there a simple TEAM DEATHMATCH in this game? A mode where most kills wins? Only objective is to rack up kills????

Well pad gets a completely different recoil pattern, and aim assist, so take from that what you will
Aim assist doesn't look over powered like CoD snap and track shit. Most console players who wanna use M&K will no doubt use a xim, since recoil is easy mode and aim assist and M&K.
I think Cairo is the best in the betaI agree with the consensus about the maps. There's nothing special about them. They've all been forgettable so far.
Without suppression it's incredibly difficult to deal with snipers to press forward onto the objective. Are there really people that don't want suppression of some sort in the game? That is so strange for a game that's about capturing points rather than K/D ratios.Everybody hated suppression back in the day. You cant win with this. Same with closed vs open weapons. There are people on both sides
Got to love it
Love hitting people with those but I think splash damage should be much greater
Agreed, sometimes I feel like I get a direct hit and it barely scratches them. This one was even more satisfying, tracking his movement down the slope
Same with the grenade launcher. I much prefer to use the incendiary one.Love hitting people with those but I think splash damage should be much greater
YepI think Cairo is the best in the beta
The incendiary one is great for finishing people off who hide if you didn't kill them in a fightSame with the grenade launcher. I much prefer to use the incendiary one.
Yep
incendiary grenades will be super strong in the full game. It slows you down and removes ADSThe incendiary one is great for finishing people off who hide if you didn't kill them in a fight
There are no bots in the main modes.I feel like that game is ruined by bots. It's so many og them, and they are so easy and retarded.
Some optimization guide for PC for max FPS and lower then low settings with more finetuning.
'If they don't half ass' .....is somehow always put in front of those who always half ass.If they dont half ass it like they did the first time, i dont think so
Or there aren't really any large maps.At this point, the only explanation I can think of for not including one large map in the beta in place of a smaller map is that the large maps are not ready for prime time. I think they are running behind. It's possible the game was targeted to be released early next year and still within EA's fiscal year but is being pushed out earlier due to GTA 6's delay.
Cairo is indeed the best map currently, and whatever you think of it it's clear it got some heavy developer time—the level of detail is insane. Empire State on the other hand seems rushed—the level of detail is not the same, it's basically a construction zone.
Or there aren't really any large maps.
Or they don't want to upset the playerbase so soon with a large map ...because the average BF player today doesn't realize you don't have to and shouldn't play flag merry go round in BF.
I started the beta on PC, tried it on PS5 Pro on Performance mode on a 120 hertz OLED TV with the Tactical Brit's controller settings, and I haven't been back to PC. Can't believe I prefer to play a BF game on controller, but it's that good. Any graphical different between the PC and PS5 Pro is negligible to anyone not obsessed over IQ.Still torn on whether to play on PC or Ps5 Pro lol first world problems
I'm choosing PC for a few reasons (over XSX). First off, I don't know how long I'm gonna be subbed to game pass and don't want to be tethered to that to play online mp games. Another is if I want to play kb/m I can, and if I end up liking controller better I can do that easily. I know kb/m is available for consoles but my setup just ain't gonna allow for that. Plus they dropped the requirement for the EA app so no double launcher bull shit. Lastly, it's just easier to tweak settings and chat and all that sort of stuff.Still torn on whether to play on PC or Ps5 Pro lol first world problems
Hell no. I dont understand how anyone can say this.It feels like playing BF 2042 again with some tweaks. -_-'
