At different stages in my life I feel there are albums that sound better, but this is the one CD that I could consistently listen to and love since its release. There's no such thing as the perfect album, but this album is perfect to listen to more often than anything else.

I'd love to give more votes to Radiohead, since they're my favorite band, but this album is just way too good.

Yeah, i know this is going to be the only vote for this amazing band, but seriously, if you want to experience top tier non-english rock n' roll look no further than Heroes. In my opinion, their most ambitious project and the pinnacle of Spanish Rock. Some highlights:

-Produced by Phil Manzanera, Roxy Music's guitarist.

-Amazing guitar work by Juan Valdivia, in short: the cure meets gipsy guitar meets Led Zeppelin.

-Charismatic, energetic vocals by Enrique Bunbury.

-Most of the band's classic hits like Sirena Varada, La Herida, Flor de Loto, etc. are here.

-Consolidated the band in countries like Germany, Austria and Belgium.

-"East and West philosophy get along" concept album
