The reviews are exceeding my expectations in terms of gameplay (i.e. not a soulslike) but it's a shame they didn't go deep with narrative (such a weird fumble), it probably would've made it top GOTY contender.

Anyways, add near the top list of games that I can't wait to play on PS5 Pro.

Think I’ll have to get it there too. Seems it’s another UE5 stutterfest on PC. Will probably look ugly on PS5 in Performance Mode. Sounds like Pro might be the way to go if my suspicion on the PC version turn out to be correct.

Stellar Blade is a low 80s game. Rise of the Ronin is a much better game and scored lower overall. My opinion, anyway.

It’s hilarious that a Chinese dev making a game about an ancient Chinese story must pander to blue haired San Franciscans or be docked points. If this game had a character with the Killmonger hair kissing a man on the lips it would unironically have a higher meta. No, I’m stating that claiming this game would Goty material without reviews complaining about diversity doesn’t make sense, as only one review complained about that. Changing the score of a single review won’t significantly impact the meta score it has.
