Wow had to immediately watch the trailer again! Calling it right now this will be the best phase 4 MCU film imo.

They are coming into this with so many people having an emotional investment not only with the Black Panther character but for Chadwick Boseman as well. I hope they don't squander it with the clumsy writing that has plagued most of the other phase 4 movies.
Trailer was nice. My main concern is if they make a decent bad guy out of Namor or if they are going to hamfist modern politics into his motivation. I mean he does slide into climate change narrative perfectly as is. But I fear they can find a way to push that too far.

The first film was overrated and mediocre at best imo.
I am curious in seeing how they will handle this sequel without Chadwick Boseman since they decided against recasting the titular role or digitally recreating him.
I hope they don't do the whole Black Panther is a woman now thing, because that's the impression I'm getting from the trailer.

I wonder if they’ll kill off Chadwick’s BP in the opening 15 minutes, having him sacrifice himself somehow to save someone/lots of people. I cant imagine they’d open the film with the character already dead, would they?

Personally they should have just do a recast. We got multiple actors playing Joker, Magneto, Professor X etc. I don't see why they couldn't do that.

Shuri will say no to being BP(I want to be free is the excuse for her not to be BP (Real reason, Disney does not want her) (They will poochie her XD)), The prince had an illegitimate boy who they will search for. and make him the next BP. Doctor Doom as the guy behind everything showing after credits

They use the real-life one, "Cancer" killed the King of the most advanced country in the world, I understand why they did it, but at the same time it is the dumbest one for having technology who could have saved him....

And then the queen goes to the UN and tells them that Chad is encroaching on their oil fields so president Bodan sends troops in to take out the evil Chadians but then they discover that some of the kids have superpowers so the American government kidnaps them.
Then Fish man comes out of the water and does all fishy things and the only one who can stop him is Shuri. But Shuri doesn't want to be Black Panther because its a big responsibility to be the first Black female Black Panther but then she just snaps fish mans neck and everything is right in the world again.

BS. Shuri is BP in the movie.
She makes a synthetic herb to go to the ancestral plane and sees Killmonger there (that’s how Michael B Jordan is in it). M’Baku is the new king of Wakanda after the queen is killed. T’Challa dies of an illness. Nakia does have a son from T’Challa but he’s just a kid at this point and Nakia just tells Shuri about him at the end.

This trailer made me want a Horizon Zero Dawn movie.
We will see. There is a lot wrong with NWH's storytelling and the odd character regression/dumbing down of Dr. Strange, if you take away the nostalgic elements.

So the whole "earthquake under the ocean" wasn't just a throw away line in Endgame.
This is one of the best trailers Marvel has put out and probably the only one in Phase 4 that has had any weight to it.
