He became less free flowing is all. I don't know all the changes overall, he just don't feel even remotely the same anymore lol. He lost FRKZ as a super as well in this version

Yeah, the trials are not the most optimal, but they really help to give you an idea of what can be done with the character. Nothing wrong with starting with some of them as your BnB while you get more used to the character.

If someone's going to bother to learn a combo, and has the forethought to ask on the internet if a certain combo is worth learning, it's a waste of time to learn a suboptimal combo.

The trial combo isn't all that bad, I stop playing the game a year ago, coming back all rusty. Playing through the trial got some of my mechanical skill back.
I know I can do the same in training mode, but it felt great getting the big "SUCCESS". I felt like I accomplished something.

Messed around with Litchi and mannnn so much is different just mechanically and moves wise but I really like the changes. Izayoi seems really fun, and love all the shout outs to Gundam 00. So far glad I got this lol can't believe I was on the fence after playing this for the afternoon.

Oh, I had the title already slightly changed yesterday by removing "import" out of it. Couldn't really settle on a new subtitle but then I figured the old one works decently enough anyways.

I do like it a lot. Can't wait for original Noel design. I do like the new design as well. Her hair is more blonde. It's not as iconic to me as her OG design but still cool.
All in all, I'm glad I got this, even though $50 was a lot!
Will get the Vita version as well!

So after some time in arcade mode, getting the feel for the game again and learning some new characters, I have to say a lot of the jumps feel very floaty now, at least compared to Extend.
When I was trying out Jin I noticed how drastically the moveset has changed. It basically feels like a new character now. Amane seems like he would be capable of a lot of full-screen cheese. Terumi's meter gain is crazy fast. So much has changed, not that I was ever a top tier player or anything, but I'm really back to basics.
Also, man I suck.
