Bloodborne |OT+++| ...and so the Nightly Hunt continues

I think i somehow skipped the Cleric Beast, cause I am trying to kill Father G. Which I almost had him until the camera kept swinging around and I could see him to dodge him etc. That grave yard does horrible things to the camera

Just finished the game in a little under three hours. I can't believe no one is giving From shit for making such a short game after all the flake The Order got. At least Ready at Dawn tried to change the gaming world through its cinematic experience.

Now to go through some chalice dungeons and get myself that platinum!
 
Quick question. I just started recently and while I love this game (being a D
S veteran), something is annoying me a lot. It may be a bug, but I'm not sure.

I'm at the Father Gascoyne(sp?) part, and I enter the yarnham from the center part. Since I am getting my ass handed to me, I am taking the opportunity to farm items. So I reach from hunter's dream with only a few vials and quick shots. I reach the boss, die and go back and forth. What happens is that when I go back to bonfire after dying at the boss, my vials and bullets are maxed out, even though it wasn't during the boss fight.

This annoys me because I have to go through 2 loading screens to go stash some away at hunters dream.

Is this a bug? Anyone else has this happen to them?

Yeah, they really do! I spent all evening trying to beat the False King, and he kept killing me and lowering my soul level and ARGHHH! I was victorious in the end, but the whole ordeal shaved a few years off my life in the process I think. Anyway, I'll take your advice and go on a From Software sabbatical for now. Probably pick up Bloodborne during the middle of summer when it'll be a bit cheaper and the nice weather will offset the grim ambiance of the game.

Get in-between her two tail things and just attack. You don't need to circle to keep in them, they'll just drag you. Same goes for her second form, except mash on dodge when you see her lasers. Also wear arcane resistant armor.

You have max item on you : 20 vial, 20 bullets. IF you use some, and die, and you have more in stock in the dream, and you die somewhere, you will respawn with inventory filled again, with your stock in the dream depleted just enough to refill you

QS bullets and blood vials are automatically replenished from the storage unit upon death or teleportation.

If you pick up any vials or bullets when you're maxed out it automatically goes to the storage unit.
 
Got the plat so I'm gonna give this a break until some dlc I guess.

Somehow every play through made me like the game less and less, and the dungeons didn't do that much for me, doesn't feel like it handles loot that well =/
Still a great game but I liked Demons better.

Whenever you are at full vials/bullets, any extra you pick up automatically get sent to storage. When you die/warp, your vials and bullets get fully replenished by the extra ones you have in storage.

I bought a PS4 for this game and it has been *so* worth it. I played Dark Souls for a short while before but the play-style of Bloodborne is resonating much more with me. Definitely a highlight of this console gen so far!

any extra consumables like vials are automatically sent to hunter's dream when you pick them up if you are maxed out. there's no need to do it manually.

When you die, the game automatically grabs extras from your stash for you, so you're ready to go when the game restarts.

hunter with the machine gun
all the way from the
top of the tower
....
the bastred was still alive and kicking when I when down the second time .... so I killed him !
he was much easier than
father gascogine
!
Welp hunter gaf.... Where do I need to go now ?

Thanks for the quick reply. This is very annoying, can I turn this Off?

Edit. Never mind, I get it now. It's actually pretty neat.

I thought that if I was maxed out, anything I picked up was lost.
 
On final boss now but clearing 2 more optional bosses and trying to get the last weapon upgrade piece. Gotta try chalice dungeons too. I liked the dungeon summary in the OT.

No you can't disable it but it's actually good help because it doesn't make you run back and forth to fill you basic inventory like it is needed for the other consummable you can pack on quick inventory

There's a ladder you can climb up where you fought the Hunter in B

. It'll get you a key to the boss fight there.

Blood Starved Beast. Go more down Old Yarnham Or you could go back to the Cathedral Ward and to the bigass Door and kill Vicar Amelia
