Ok GAF, I hate asking for help but I have no idea what to do next.

I have beaten these bosses so far.

I assume R
om
is next but I have no idea how to get to it. Every door I come across seems to be locked and I'm starting to get frustrated. The very last thing I did was take out the
Hunter
that is at B
yrgenwerth
.

I don't believe I have completed any side-quests.
Even in the Cathedral I only have one lady taking refuge there.

Any help on where to go next would be much appreciated.

Rom
is REALLY close to a boss lamp you already beat. The last one to be exact.

The top of Byrgenwerth should have a key that allows you to open a door in that mansion to get you to fight Rom.

I just beat 2 bosses in the last 4 hours. This game is goat!

On my new game plus and beat cleric beast, went to see Eileen behind the barrels and she wasn't there, anyone know why? I needed her badge to get all the weapons

<you've come to the right place.>

Go look there again. Specifically, look upstairs.

Go back to Byrgemn, go inside and go to the tip top till u find a key. With that key, open a door in that same building, talk to an old man and take a leap of faith

Check around where the hunter is. You may have to take a "leap of faith"

GAF, you're going to hate me.

I beat the Byrgenwerth Hunter on my third try by spamming the blunderbuss and stunlocking her in a corner, leaving her open for continuous visceral attacks.

But that's not all, I one-upped my performance straight after. I beat R
om
on my second try. Easy peasy. I just took my time and didn't get greedy (for once).

Holy crap. I'd gone back to Hamwick Charnel Lane to grind some souls 'cause there's a half dozen new weapons in the shop I wanted to buy. Anyway, with the W
itches dead the adds from the fight now spawn about
. That's not the crazy part. I was fighting one that was stuck on a beam that it couldn't get past when my swipe missed, however the gust from my swipe actually caused the enemies hair to swish in turn.

Guys, I just beat the second boss
Father Gascoigne
. I'm sitting at 8 insight with 2 Madman's knowledge. I've heard you get the opportunity to buy previously unavailable gear at 10 Insight, is this correct?

exactly. I can't imagine how it's "annoying" though. The alternative would be what- running back and forth to a box at hunter's dream constantly? or not being able to pick up vials if you were "full?"

lunacy

I get it now. Thanks. It's much better this way. I thought my items were being lost.

I'm pretty sure that Hunter killed me more times then every boss before that area put together.

There's a key upstairs to where that hunter you killed was. Then you just walk off the edge after you open the door for
Rom
. I recommend getting Arianna first though.

Yeah, a group of messengers will show up in the Hunter's Dream. Don't worry about saving Insight, by the end of the game you'll have more than you can spend.

I did almost the exact same lol same strategy for the Hunter but it took me 3 tries for R
om.

I just ran around the outside and then through a gap in the small spiders, hit him a few times and ran back out. Ran in circles outward to dodge the meteors and repeated. One of the easiest fights for sure, though I used up all 20 vials haha

Yes, once you have 10 insight, the insight merchant is made available in Hunter's Dream. Enter the house and across from storage is a side door. Go through that and the insight merchant will be outside. And that boss's armor set is available for purchase from this merchant. It has good poison resists...

At 10 insight you can but the Sinister Bell that allows you to invade and the Resonan Bell that allows you to be summoned

Great, thanks! (Insight-related spoiler) Do the
enemies become tougher
at 10 Insight?

So a friend of mine that loves the DS games like crazy I mean he put something like 300+ into DS2 has been telling me he really hasn't been liking BB very much so today I was at his house and was watching him play and holy crap he was terrible. I honestly couldn't believe it, this was a guy that would speed run DS2 and now he can't even kill basic guys. It made me realize what a shock this game must be to so many people that came from the other games.

I came into BB super cocky because I had over 100 hours in Demons Souls and had played a good chunk of Dark Souls despite never beating it.

I got my fucking ass handed to me for 5 hours (that's how long it took to pass the opening part and beat Cleric Beast in 10-15 tries).

Game is no joke.

Is there a trophy or some other kind of reward for entering OY by the alternate path? I'm having troubles with V
icar Amelia
and I think going OY first would be easier.

I'm interested to know how the rifle spear and rapier bullet damage compares with the other guns. Specifically the Evelyn though

The thing about those weapons is that the "transform" attack shoots a bullet. It's perfect if you attack ( enemy is about to attack ) l1 > parry.

I've played 400 hours of DS1 and 400 hours of DS2, and yeah, there are a lot of habits you gain from those games you have to break. The skills eventually transfer over, but you have to change up the way you approach combat a lot.

Blood Echo Farming Strategy:

I equip 2 Moon Runes and go to
Lecture Hall 1st Floor
. In one of the side rooms are a ton of enemies. With the Moon Runes equipped, I get 1204 echoes per enemy. Then I kill myself by the lamp by using the
Chikage
's L1 transformation. I spawn at the lamp and my blood stain is right there. One run is about 20k.

I don't even level up anymore, just gonna stay at 87 until I beat the game. I just use this to buy all the armor/weapons that are expensive, and vials and bullets.

I don't like waiting so long before being able to be summoned.

I haven't got 10 insight and it didn't work when I tried to summon before the first boss... :(
Kinda disappointed to be honest. I know later on it will get better, but a consumable item for multiplayer interaction was a terrible and frustrating idea. :(

Aw yiss, OT4 already.

Meanwhile, in
Nightmare Frontier.
