Here's a short video I made with:
Stake Driver
Rapier
Lancerifle

https://youtu.be/FsUNzg9F2_Q

Put that holy sword away and experiment!

The rapier and rifle shoot bullets with l1 for super easy parries after an attack.

Eh those other weapons are ok at best. For a quality build you go either with sword or with the wheel. Which is the two I have.

So a friend of mine that loves the DS games like crazy I mean he put something like 300+ into DS2 has been telling me he really hasn't been liking BB very much so today I was at his house and was watching him play and holy crap he was terrible. I honestly couldn't believe it, this was a guy that would speed run DS2 and now he can't even kill basic guys. It made me realize what a shock this game must be to so many people that came from the other games.

Many people played Dark Souls with shields/blocking. For people like me who used dodging all it took was getting used to how much faster dodging and enemies were.

Just finished the game in a little under three hours. I can't believe no one is giving From shit for making such a short game after all the flake The Order got. At least Ready at Dawn tried to change the gaming world through its cinematic experience.

Now to go through some chalice dungeons and get myself that platinum!

Hmm, how is this even possible going in blind? I can understand speed run, but firt time playthrough to be this short? I mean I spent 3 hours just exploring central stage and sewers and killing the first boss..

20 Insight adds
new dialogue to the Vicar Amelia fight.

Damn, 50 hours in and I'm still learning new stuff.

It was a new game + speedrun to get the last ending I needed. I used the glitch to skip straight to the Forbidden Woods so I only fought
Shadows, Rom, One Reborn, Micolash, and the Wet Nurse.
There are speedruns online of the game beaten in less than an hour.

My first time through took me about 30 hours.

Was he a mage or a shield user in the Souls games? :P

Nice title!

And OT3 Hall of Shame:

I made it. Uh oh.

Yeah, I call bullshit if it was a true first play through.

I really like the look of the Arcane items but would need to pump a few levels into Arcane just to use them. Would it be worth it?

My current stats are:
LVL 70
VIT 30
END 25
STR 35
SKL 13
BDT 10
ARC 7

Taking Arcane to 15 to use the item that
buffs your weapon
is worth it.

It certainly won't hurt. My first character in any Souls game typically aims for balanced stats anyways so I can mess around with all the weapons/abilities.

I'm level 160 and I just started pumping bloodtinge, so I'd say go for it!

what level are you supposed to be by the time you get to the
Unseen Village
which opens after you kill a certain spider, cause I'm level 53 now and I feel I'm underlevel right now.

there are some enemies here that look like a bunch of corpses on a box that can one hit kill me and is there anyway to lure the 3 hunters one by one, it seems I cannot get close to anyone without alerting the others, and they follow me forever

Posting for new page:

Is there a trophy or some other kind of reward for entering OY by the alternate path? I'm having troubles with V
icar Amelia
and I think going OY first would be easier.

I'm rounding for home in my first playthru, and I don't want it to end. Working on a few optional bosses now and then ...

Got the plat so I'm gonna give this a break until some dlc I guess.

Somehow every play through made me like the game less and less, and the dungeons didn't do that much for me, doesn't feel like it handles loot that well =/
Still a great game but I liked Demons better.

Did the same thing. Actually just going back and playing Demons again.

Coop, why you not work??

Have you done all the basic troubleshooting stuff? Making sure you haven't come out of suspend/resume, network settings, etc?

I've had no trouble with coop but I have stopped using suspend/resume with Bloodborne cause it fucks it up.

Why is there like 6 bloodstains surrounding the doll in the abandoned old workshop?

I can only assume people like creating bloodstains in unlikely places. I know I've seen a couple where there are no enemies in which the person has used certain weapons to get themselves killed.

I just beat Y
harnam, The Pthumerian Queen
=) Then i have beaten every boss solo, except
"the true" ending boss, but i havnt attempted that yet.
I'm a bit disappointed that after beating that boss
(Yharnam, that is)
, you
only get the ability to buy Blood Ritual 4. It would be cool if you could get her outfit as well.

By the way, do you need to beat the game
3
times to get all the trophies? I'm wondering if i will wait out for the two remaining trophies
(getting the "true ending" and simply accept death from Gehrman)
that i need until DLC comes out. I did the "mistake" in Dark Souls 2 by playing it a lot, and when the DLC came out, i was at NG+++++ or something, and then i couldnt beat the bosses solo (maybe i managed a few, but far from all of them).

Also, what is the highest damage combo that someone has gotten? I got over 13000 now when doing co-op at a boss
(Ebrietas)
.

What's so great about Ludwig's sword? I've been using it as my secondary weapon but I see a lot of people seem to be using it as a primary. I've been using the saw cleaver because it stun locks like 90% of the enemies in the game.
