Isn't it easier though while using a mouse? On console you have to press press press and press to equip then go to another item in your inventory and do the same man

I guess it is, I never played with a gamepad. Still quite cumbersome to look at all your weapons, decide what to keep and what to buy, mark them and so on. Takes so much time, especially when you have both your inventory and bank full with shiny loot that you would never separate from and keep hoarding. :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Level.10 atm

Had 1 crash like straight out matrix screech sound...

And one weird glitch that the face pop up wouldn't stop talking.
After that all VA was broken so i had to restart game. The game saves so many times. So i did't lost more then 1 min.

I played on remote play on my ipad pro most of the time. With ethernet cable and xbox one controller. In performance mode.

Still not sure if to pick performance or graphics.
I prefer graphics on the big screen.

I'm still not sure if I'm feeling this sadly...I want to like it, but maybe the fact that I have no friends to play with anymore is just making this not as enjoyable as something as Borderlands 2 was. I played a lot of BL2 solo, but I also played some of it with a friend who has since no longer been my friend. I do know someone who bought this on PC, but I bought it on PS4 and am so bummed that it doesn't have cross play.

The gunplay feels great, but everything else feels so samey to borderlands 2 to me. It's not really scratching any itches. :(

For doing the exact same thing the previous consoles did. Obviously.

Now that I’m level 20+ and can see some of the benefits I put into my character it’s a whole new game. Just like the previous ones.

It keeps getting better, and I am just here for the ride.

You have to get past lvl 10 to start seeing what it has to offer. That takes 3 or 4 hours, and while I agree it’s better with friends it is perfectly fun solo, you just have to be better prepared.

What system are you on?

PS4. I was talking to my buddy online, and he did kinda reveal something to me that I didn't know about this game before that has piqued my interest to keep playing.

Looking at the map also helped hint me into the fact that it looks like you leave Pandora at some point, which sounds exciting to finally see a world outside of Pandora.

Yes that was shown in a bunch of previews. I won’t spoil anything else but that is basically the tutorial island.

Level 21 atm.
Played with 3 friends and this game is a freaking blast ! (and im even not a bl fan )
Gunplay is a joy, level design is great, voice and music are also top notch.
Im playing on Ps4 pro, and resolution is the way to go, much more smooth.
the game of course has it downsides like the UI menus, it stutters alot and take ages to load. The bosses are also pretty simple and straight forward ( don't expect FromSoftware level ).
All in all, glad i bought, it is alot of fun.

Matchmaking put me into the game of a person farther ahead in the story than me. Upon joining, all the quests they completed became completed on my character too. All the voicelines from those story missions played all at once.
I missed out on a ton of story and had to restart my character because of this.

I mighy finish it solo

I’m co-oping with friends and we only play together so I’m in a safe spot

The game is getting crushed for performance everywhere so I doubt 2K sent DF copies. I saw a clip of the menu lag on console. It’s worse than I thought and it’s supposedly present in the PC version as well.

This game seems to Hate instant on. Left the game standby. Had to do a complete reboot. Now it's ok.

Absolutely pissed off.

Why are no journalists talking about the shit tier framerates in resolution mode on PS4 Pro??
It's a fucking useless mode and switching to performance leaves us with 1080p and 60fps.
Like the developers couldn't even settle some sort of ddynamic resolution to hold a steady 30fps or something. Instead resolution mode chugs like a mofo even with no enemies on screen. I shudder to think what it's like with an intense battle going on.

Dont even get me started on the goddamn menu and how it completely tanks the game when you open the map or skill section.

Also performance mode is not perfect and there are jaggies everywhere. How in gods green earth do we get a game like this at the end of a console life cycle where performance is shit tier after devs having had a fair amount of time on these consoles. Are games not meant to improve as the console life cycle matures?
One would expect that on a Pro console the devs would make an effort to get decent performance.

And then the media praise the game to high heaven
Where are the articles talking about performance?
Even a google search only mentions the fucking menu system being laggy. what about the shit tier resolution mode and its dog shit framerates or 1080p jaggyfest with its framerates that buckles under the strain of intense battles.

Fuck off Gearbox. I wish I could take my money back.

Gave up trying to keep 100+fps. Cranked up everything to ultra and capped fps to 60.
My eyes bleed but i have piece of mind for now.

This game is in my top 10 games of all time now. Most fun I've had for YEARS. Playing on high end PC on Badass settings and 4KHDR TV. Butter smooth framerates, no glitches at all. Just got to Sanctuary. SO epic.

So after reading that horror story about matchmaking I’m a little hesitant to do so for co-op purposes. I won’t have my usual group of folks like I did in BL and BL2. :/

Really was liking the game a ton until the game crashed, reloaded, and then couldn’t continue my game because the character was “Corrupt!”. So, I refuse to start another game from scratch until they release some fixes. Great game so far, though! Really enjoyed what I could play of it before the game-breaking glitch screwed me over.

I'm having this weird glitch where the game will randomly freeze and hitch for half a second to a second, and the only way to fix it is to restart the game. Annoying as fuck, but it's only happened a few times.

So far only 2 issues on the PC that I've encountered:

1. very random audio static popping on my 11.2 Atmos setup. No clue why, its the only game this happens in, but every 10 or 15 minutes I'll get this "static pop" sound out of the speakers. Its annoying but livable.
2. Even though i get a constant 60fps @ 4k/75%, with everything on high, I still get weird frame stutters every now and then while moving around. They feel like asset streaming stutters.
