I am almost positive you will start back at the beginning of the compound. But that will give you a chance to level up along the way and have an easier time with Sledge.Lucky Forward said:Quick question: I just fought my way across Sledge's compound and I'm at the boss battle with him. Naturally, I keep dying and respawning right outside the door of his chamber where the vending machines are. If I exit here and turn off my PS3, next time will I pick up right outside Sledge's chamber again, or will I have to fight my way across his entire compound from the beginning?
Arrrrgh...thanks.Exarchos said:I am almost positive you will start back at the beginning of the compound. But that will give you a chance to level up along the way and have an easier time with Sledge.

Try that shit at level 50 and get your day ruined.

That is all.
Whoever was shooting the Rakk Hive was a good 5 levels higher than it. They were very overleveled for that encounter. At endgame, where everyone is between level 49-50 and all bosses are level 51, hitting for that much damage will never happen unless its a critical - and even then, against him, the last 25-30% of health can't even be touched through criticals. Even a level 50 plaguebearer with full venom, full hit & run, full phase strike + level 6 corrosive return only hit for about 1500 or so.rc213 said:What do you mean?

Fast travel to it at a New-U station. Should be one of the options.pubba said:Bueller?
I hope this isn't reliant on being connected to XboxLive, because my wired net connection in this apartment is not very reliable and it's been offline most of the day..
Don't have a wireless adaptor - they are too expensive.

We tried that, but nothing new showed up..
Guess I will try deleting it and download the DLC again

It felt very strange at first, but after awhile, I became used to it. I played as The Siren and focused most of my attention on the controller and the assassin tree.
I enjoyed the overall experience quite a bit....but that ending was straight garbage. Honestly, it was about as bad as Bioshocks ending. I was expecting something for my troubles...I honestly don't even really know what the hell happened. I feel like there is something I am missing. Was the monster the only thing hiding in the Vault? What was the point of all that? Were the gaurdians simply trying to protect Pandora from being destroyed by that monster? Who the hell was the girl that guided you throughout the game? She said she would be watching, but since the vault won't open for another 200 years, what's the point?
Also, I think that I ended up messing up the balance or something. See, around the time I got to Old Haven, I was still in the position where at least some of the quest were "normal" and the enemies were my level. But when I got to Old Haven, that damn smoke quest glitch fucked me up, and I ended up leveling up like 2 or 3 times in that area (It took me forever to figure out to just follow the smoke and to stop looking for the switch around the arrow). I kept killing the enemies as they kept respawning, and here I am running around trying to look for new ways to jump on buildings. After that, the game never caught up to my level. I ended up beating it with level 37, when I feel that I probably should have been level 33-34 (Based on the difficulty and the level of the other enemies).
Is the second playthrough a New Game Plus or is it something different? How do I restart the main quest with the same character?
In the Borderlands official guide, it is revealed that the Eridians sacrificed their entire civilization to imprison the Destroyer inside the Vault. The Guardians were created to protect the Vault and prevent anyone from opening it. If it was ever freed, the Destroyer would have eventually consumed the universe. After the player destroys the Destroyer, the Vault reseals itself and cannot be opened by the Key again for 200 years. The Guardian Angel reveals that in its home realm, the destroyer is indestructible, however it requires a host body to survive in this one.

-PXG- said:Beat every mission in the Dr. Ned DLC, even the Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaains one. I'm level 49 and just got to New Haven on Playthrough 2. Has Gearbox announced anymore DLC, or any talks about increasing the level cap?
Oh, and there is a known bug with the Jakobs vending machine in Jakob's Cove. Gearbox is working on a patch to fix that.
Take-Twos Borderlands has been the years best-selling original IP, so its hardly surprising that the publisher is already talking about a sequel.
At yesterdays earnings call, company chairman Strauss Zelnick said that Borderlands was showing every sign of becoming an important, long-term franchise. With developer Gearboxs Mike Neumann having referred to Borderlands 2 as a no-brainer last month, it looks like a sequel is inevitable. Gearbox even has a proper working title to run with, having just trademarked the word Borderworlds in the US.
Were already making a mental list of what wed like to see in a sequel: extra skill specialisations; more vehicles; an increased variety of terrain; maybe some level of character customisation; and definitely a wider choice of online modes.
Interestingly, a report on Develop notes that Gearbox is calling for staff from axed studio Pandemic to apply for jobs with the Texan company. Whether thats indicative of ramping up the Borderlands team size we cant say, but as Borderlands was one of our favourite titles of 2009 a sequel cant come soon enough.

Or it could just refer to the fact that the player jumps between different planets, whereas Borderlands was set on just one planet.SuperEnemyCrab said:"Borderworlds" surely sounds more like an MMO than just a sequel. If true then I doubt it will be released until next-gen either.

Support gunner mod for my soldier and I never have to buy ammo again
Found an Eridian weapon on top one of the houses on New Haven, shoot balls of energy but they move kinda slow but they lock onto enemies I think. keeping it for now since idk if its rare and I can only get 1,000 for it.
