Did I just hear streaming Brandon [justin.tv] mention zombie DLC videos?!

Diablo II:
Normal (Lvl 1 to 30 or thereabouts)
Nightmare (30-60 or thereabouts)
Hell (60-99)
Borderlands
New Game (1-35 or thereabouts)
New Game+ (35-50)
Not that hard to understand.
Only difference is that I don't know if you can go back to New Game in Borderlands once you've started New Game+

http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/16/borderlands-devs-heading-out-for-midnight-launches-in-texas/So, Gearbox and 2K may not have the pull to grant Borderlands a nationwide mega midnight launch, but gosh-darn-it, they're gonna keep a couple GameStops open late on October 19! For those in the DFW (Dallas Fort Worth, holla!), the developers will be showing up to sign copies (at least "five guys with sharpies") -- and they'll bring some posters and T-shirts along, too.

* 6245 Rufe Snow Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76148-3321
The Plano location will have a "four-player LAN setup available to play starting around 9PM." A Gearbox representative tells us they'll "hopefully" have something set up at the Ft. Worth location as well.
Vercingetorix said:You are really reaching here. That's not the same as scalable difficulty. Diablo had scalable difficulty, Borderlands doesn't.
Playing through New Game + with the enemies scaled to your level isn't necessarily any harder than it was in the first game because you've obviously levelled up at the same rate as the enemies.
Mass Effect for example has New Game + and scalable difficulty, which is in itself proof that they're not the same thing.

wait, there are games that don't involve shooting stuff?Slackbladder said:I'm interested in this game, but all the videos seem to suggest it's a pretty fast and furious, adrenaline pumping 'squeeze the trigger and don't let go' kind of a game. Is there more variety to it then that? Some actual tactics or thinking involved? The RPG flavour is interesting. I just hope there's variety in the game. Or is it online/co-op heavy to the detriment of a single player campaign? Or is it too early to tell?

You can also get combo nades, so you can have explosive teleporting nade.
