Boston Attackers Mother Blames U.S. For Attacking Her Sons

Only if you admit a complete failure of empathy towards a woman in a horrendous situation.

I say let her wail and gnash her teeth. Let her scream and tear at her clothes till her energy is spent. There's little one can do to console a person in this sort of grief until they're ready to listen.

She raised terrorists who killed innocent people and injured hundreds. I don't feel bad for her at all. There also appears to be a good chance that she had an idea of how dangerous the older son was.

I'd love to know how this "radicalization" process works and how it seems so to be so effective in turning regular people into murderers. It sounds unbelievable. I'd also like to know how long it usually takes.

Don't feel bad for her at all. This isn't a grief stricken denial as much as a delusional, hate filled view of the U.S., which is exactly what helped fuel her sons to make the choices they made.

Perhaps if she were around taking care of her children this wouldn't have happened. Uncle needs to speak some sense into her.

I've seen headlines similar to this today. It's quite misleading because it immediately conjures up emotions, considering these two were the perpetrators of the deaths of innocent victims. In reality though, the mother's claim is that the two were not involved. If she believes that then naturally she'll believe they were murdered by the state. The headline should really be based on her denial of their involvement, rather than "you killed my kids".

how are you, B!TCH? How is your day going, B!ITCH?

Yeah, the apple didn't fall too far from the tree in this case.

Not that I'm totally unsympathetic to her grief but the type of thinking she's displaying is similar to the type of thinking her son's used in deciding to carry out a terrorist attack. Hard to overlook the irony.

I don't mean to alarm you but you have dogs on your face
Mother in denial over two children, one now dead, being responsible for terrorist bombings. C'mon this isn't a story.

A mother who never mentioned the victims of the bombing. The mother who blames the U.S. 100%. Yea, no thanks.

A mother who doesn't believe her sons to be the Boston bombers?
That's a pretty understandable position to take upon hearing that one's children are actually terrorists - especially once you also have to deal with the loss of a child on top of the terrorist allegations.

We may have no doubt, but parent who unconditionally loves her children most certainly will.

Give her space and time to deal with this, and sooner or later she'll come to understand that something went wrong with her children. Keep pestering her for opinions and comments, and she'll remain adamant in her self-denial.

I'd be more sympathetic if she was just a mother grieving her sons. But she's partly responsible for Tamerlan's radicalization and a criminal herself! So I don't exactly pity her.

I understand her delusion, but her comments are nonetheless aggravating. The text messages she sent seem pretty damaging, though; could the US pursue her for not reporting a potential terrorist threat?

Russia twice asked the United States for more information about Tamerlan Tsarnaev in 2011, investigators say, but the FBI found no sign of terrorist activity, and Russia failed to provide more information about why they were concerned about him.
Hah, Russia failed. Right.

She herself is on FBI and Russian watchlists.

If true, then I have no sympathy for her whatsoever. And the father seems to be a straight up fucking idiot.

And this reminds me: The Mercedes guy who was carjacked? Shows that the younger brother was PROUD of what he did. No remorse, no fear.

lol

the "Russian Watchlist" is probably 80% political.

in terms of the Chechens Conflict, Russia as largely been "the bad guy" for lack of better terms.

Well....

Boston bombing suspects' mom in terror database

BOSTON (AP) — The mother of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects had been added to a federal terrorism database about 18 months before the attack, government officials said Thursday.

Two government officials said the CIA had Zubeidat Tsarnaeva's name added along with that of her son Tamerlan Tsarnaev after Russia contacted the agency in 2011 with concerns that the two were religious militants about to travel to Russia. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the case.

Being in the classified TIDE database does not automatically mean a person is suspected by the U.S. of terrorist activity and does not automatically subject someone to surveillance, security screening or travel restrictions. But the disclosure could fuel more questions about whether the Obama administration missed an opportunity to thwart the deadly bombing.

I'd love to have a beer with their uncle, he seems like a cool down to earth dude. This wackjob lady can fuck right off though. You raised pure evil.

This is like a perfect storm of scummy press and people who lap it up. No wonder the coverage is shit, it's what people want.

Drone strike this *****

Taco delivery drone?

Does she know she was also on a terrorist watch list?

I read somewhere that she was the one who thought Islam would be a good influence on her kids. So she might be in major denial and also blaming herself?
