This thread is going to go bad .....
Only if you admit a complete failure of empathy towards a woman in a horrendous situation.
I say let her wail and gnash her teeth. Let her scream and tear at her clothes till her energy is spent. There's little one can do to console a person in this sort of grief until they're ready to listen.

Was big bro dead before he was ran over or after?
died at the hospital so yea he was alive.
Your avatar, why man? Why?
it was in the moment. i am actually finding a new avatar.
i watched a cnn interview with her this morning and she said she watched a video that portrays the event as a play(made up) and instead of blood it was red paint. wow!!!
This is heart breaking, way to go interviewing a grief-strucken mother who's lost a son.
It's all about those ratings.
I really mean. - if substantive - and proven. Which I admit is reaching. But also I hate parents who can't accept they have bad kids.I wouldn't admit that someone merely being on an FBI watch-list makes you unsympathetic toward that person.
Don't feel bad for her at all. This isn't a grief stricken denial as much as a delusional, hate filled view of the U.S., which is exactly what helped fuel her sons to make the choices they made.

A mother who never mentioned the victims of the bombing. The mother who blames the U.S. 100%. Yea, no thanks.
She's a mother, what do you expect? People need to leave her alone so she can grieve and move on. It's sad all around.
Hah, Russia failed. Right.Russia twice asked the United States for more information about Tamerlan Tsarnaev in 2011, investigators say, but the FBI found no sign of terrorist activity, and Russia failed to provide more information about why they were concerned about him.
She herself is on FBI and Russian watchlists.
If true, then I have no sympathy for her whatsoever. And the father seems to be a straight up fucking idiot.

And this reminds me: The Mercedes guy who was carjacked? Shows that the younger brother was PROUD of what he did. No remorse, no fear.
BOSTON (AP) The mother of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects had been added to a federal terrorism database about 18 months before the attack, government officials said Thursday.
Two government officials said the CIA had Zubeidat Tsarnaeva's name added along with that of her son Tamerlan Tsarnaev after Russia contacted the agency in 2011 with concerns that the two were religious militants about to travel to Russia. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the case.
Being in the classified TIDE database does not automatically mean a person is suspected by the U.S. of terrorist activity and does not automatically subject someone to surveillance, security screening or travel restrictions. But the disclosure could fuel more questions about whether the Obama administration missed an opportunity to thwart the deadly bombing.
isn't there a warranty for her arrest for shop lifting still?
Absolutely.I really mean. - if substantive - and proven. Which I admit is reaching. But also I hate parents who can't accept they have bad kids.
This is like a perfect storm of scummy press and people who lap it up. No wonder the coverage is shit, it's what people want.
When somebody hates the reality of things so much, they will create their own reality to hide themselves from it.
seriously, when i saw that comment i was like "really? that's not a tough choice at all. must be sarcasm..."Grief-stricken mother or national news outlets, grief-stricken mother or national news outlets.
Gosh this is hard.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev admitted to FBI interrogators that the brothers committed the bombings and that he was recruited by his brother to participate only a week or two before the attacks.
