I’m 36 and currently live with my parents but I’m planning to start shopping for a house next month and in the meanwhile I pay rent and help out around the house. Plus, years ago I paid off their house, paid to have it updated/remodeled, bought them a car, etc… so it’s not like I’m a freeloader. I do really miss my independence though and I hope the house buying process doesn’t take too long….

Different people have different situations so I won’t judge someone for staying with their parents. However, not contributing anything? Come on, man. I literally started doing work to help my family financially when I was like 6. You might think this is a disability case or something but there’s two of them. They gotta get out there and make something happen.
