Well it confirms something I wouldn't have initially believed before I read it.

Fucking assholes. I came across some piece of shit who posted MASSIVE spoilers for this season. I read one too. And it was a big one, huge even. FUUUUUCK. God, can't I watch 1 show without someone ruining it?
That really sucks ass man :(

So just watching through the S4 trailer again, I noticed a very brief shot of a horrified looking Jesse holding a pistol and an equally horrified Walt holding A FUCKING ASSAULT RIFLE. HOLY SHIT.

The assault rifle scene is from Tuco in season two.

Jesse holding a pistol and looking horrified? Just about anytime he's held a gun in any season.

It is? Damn, I really need to watch through this again. I only have series one :(

Oh well, at least I didn't accidentally spoil that guy. SORRY GUYS, FALSE ALARM >_>

just play it safe: if it's revealing any details about a scene from next season, put it in spoiler tags no matter how small we think it is. This way there is no confusion about what is and is not a spoiler. It's not complicated

That sucks, but do you know how reliable the source of the spoiler was? I remember getting a "spoiler" for Season 3 when it started airing saying that Hank dies.
I was gutted before season 3 started as I had read an interview with Dean Norris and he spoiled that Hank finds out about Walt in season 3. Of course it turns out this never really happens, it was just Dean Norris messing about.

He's holding an assault rifle is not a spoiler, wtf don't be so sensitive guys.
He sure described it as if it was something new from season 4. Those of us who are avoiding spoilers and haven't watched the video have no way of knowing...

Since the season started later, won't it be out of competition for the emmys in september?
I believe this season will be eligible is 2012 (not 100% sure on that), but BB is out of competition this year.

Really looking forward to the start of the new season. Started watching the show just a few months ago when they started the entire series replay over - got hooked after just a few episodes and instead of waiting for them to air the entire series I went out and bought all 3 seasons on BluRay, only issue will be having to watch them in SD since I have DirecTV.

Even if it was a scene from season four how would something like "He's holding an assault rifle" be any kind of spoiler. There's no information in that statement.

Yeah, that's what i thought. Well at the something will win Best Actor and Supporting Actor this year.

I sort of agree in this specific instance, but it's more a matter of having a clear policy that avoids confusion and misinterpretation. Err on the side of caution.

Fair enough.

Good thing noboby mentioned Flynn's bionic limb transplants.

I recently got all three seasons, and watched it in like 5 days. I'm dying to see what happens next, and I can't believe many of you had to wait a whole year to start season four. I don't think I could have waited that long!

I'm rewatching "Grilled" where they're stuck at Tuco's uncle's place in the desert. I miss the insane energy that Tuco brought, but he had to go.

Such a good episode. Probably the most tense episode on a show that is known for its tension

Any recommendations for other S2 episodes I should rewatch? Peekaboo? ABQ?

4 Days Out, definitely.

Jesse - What are you gonna build?
Walt - Just what you said.
Jesse - A robot?

Absolutely. Such a fantastic acting job by Mark Margolis despite never uttering a word. Even now every time I hear that bell it twists a nerve, there was so much tension just watching his finger hover over it.

What I'm more interested to see is if anyone can come up with a list of other television characters who went through such drastic growth. Characters that have almost none of the traits they started their respective series with.
Looking at those two pictures posted above of Walt Season 1 and Walt Season 3 made me think of all the shows I've watched over the years, especially all the good serialized shows in the 2000's and I can't think of a single character that changed as much as Walt has.
Wesley on "Angel" had pretty much the same arc over the seasons as Walt has.

Watching "Negro y Azul" right now

I haven't seen the opening in a long ass time, felt so good watching it again. Can't wait for Tortuga's "big" scene

I've read like three articles that vaguely spoil scenes Vince Gilligan was directing, which means they occur penultimate episode or the finale.

Still have no clue what could be happening, but I'm guessing it will all make this thread explode in a couple months

I'm trying to finish Season 3 before next Sunday, nearly there now. Generally I think the show is fantastic, if not quite up to its reputation as an all-time great, but then it pulls a succession of episodes out of the hat like 'Mas', 'One Minute' and 'Sunset' and blows my brain. I think that A Crazy Handful Of Nothin' might still be my favourite so far, but the ending of 'One Minute', when Hank faces down the cousins, is one of the most suspenseful and brilliantly staged pieces of television I've seen.

procrastination haunts me even when it's not school-related...

Wow, I'm quite impressed how much of a fuss my stupidity caused. Good lordy. I should probably just not talk at all. Sorry y'all.

Hank's showdown is a kindergarten play about flowers compared to the towering performance Aaron Paul gives earlier in the episode. Up there with Badger and Skinny in the support group.

"YOU DON'T GET IT. I'M SAYING NO. TO YOU."

The stuff at the end pales in comparison.

All right, I'll definitely rewatch "4 Days Out" from S2. Thanks, everyone.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they should have just laid the Emmy at his bedside after that speech.

"I am not turning down the money! I am turning down you! You get it?! I want nothing to do with you! Ever since I met you, everything I ever cared about is gone! Ruined, turned to shit, dead, ever since I hooked up with the great Heisenberg! I have never been more alone! I HAVE NOTHING! NO ONE! ALRIGHT, IT'S ALL GONE, GET IT? No, no, no, why...why would you get it? What do you even care, as long as you get what you want, right? You don't give a shit about me! You said I was no good. I'm nothing! Why would you want me, huh? You said my meth is inferior, right? Right? Hey! You said my cook was GARBAGE! Hey, screw you, man! Screw you!"

The text alone doesn't do it justice, but I can't find it on Youtube.
