Is Giancarlo Esposito going to do all the voices? His Spanish is impeccable.
wtf. how can someone do this without any sort of copyright or legal issues?

UPDATE: According to Breaking Bad producer Sony TV, the studio has no closed deal with Univision for a Spanish-language adaptation. The studio had shot and shopped a Spanish-language Breaking Bad pilot for the U.S. and Latin American markets but has not decided what network(s) it would go with or whether it would proceed with the series at all.
by it being approved? You're acting as if adaptation is a new thing. The Office has 8 versions internationally, Big Brother began in the Netherlands...format sales are how TV works internationally. Anyway, updated on that article:
Soy el peligro!
Aaron Paul is too awesome
Si, puto! Imanes!
nada detiene el tren!!!
The most classic one was a few months ago when I was walking in London. I had just picked up a Gatorade at a little market and this guy screams out, Gatorade me, bitch! and I turned and threw him the Gatorade. I went, Yeah! threw it to him, and walked off. It was pretty great.

By impeccable you mean horrible, no?
I was being sarcastic because I know everyone in here hates it. I have to say I'm very glad I'm not a native Spanish speaker in this case, he sounds fine to me!
One of the criticisms of Breaking Bad that keeps coming up is over the female characters. Skyler White is seen by some as this henpecking woman who stands in the way of all of Walts fun.
Man, I dont see it that way at all. Weve been at events and had all our actors up onstage, and people ask Anna Gunn, Why is your character such a bitch? And with the risk of painting with too broad a brush, I think the people who have these issues with the wives being too bitchy on Breaking Bad are misogynists, plain and simple.
This is Part I of AMC.com's two-part report from the set of Breaking Bad. Check back next week to see Part II.
The interview or the AMC post?Only very slight spoilers in that article, btw.
It's amazing how despite how many awful things Walt has done, people vent their disgust at Skyler. Like she's the problem.
Skyler hasn't been perfect, but the rage with her is incomprehensible. I'm so glad whenever I read Vince call out the Skyler haters - Skylaters.
The AMC post. It describes two scene locations and who is in the scene, but no dialogue or anything. The interview or the AMC post?
Thanks, I labeled it.The AMC post. It describes two scene locations and who is in the scene, but no dialogue or anything.
After early news of the adaptation at broke at the network's upfront, "Metástasis" now has a cast and clearance in most Spanish speaking markets.
The Skyler hate has always been a mystery to me. I don't get it. At worst I found her boring, especially her early scenes with Marie, but she never annoyed me and I quite like her to be honest.
She had mostly been acting like any strong person in her place would have.

From Fast Companys Most Creative People issue: A talk with Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston on the importance of collaboration on the set of the acclaimed show.
For its 100 Most Creative People In Business issue, Fast Company spoke at length with Bryan Cranston, digging into how the actor created the indelible Walter White in Breaking Bad and how hell move beyond that groundbreaking role.
Cranston also talked about another critical element that made Breaking Bad work: collaboration between creator Vince Gilligan, the actors, and all the creative contributors to the show.
Seems like Sony is behind it and it is their property to do what they want. If it's quality, I wouldn't mind watching the show reimagined through others.
Okay, but I forgot to edit in the part where I add 'or it has lots of T&A and added action and violence'. Come on, Univision, deliver on one or lots of the other. It's Univision. There's like a zero percent chance it will be quality.
Though there's a good chance it'll be in the so bad it's good territory.
Ugh, I started my rewatch too early.
I looooove this bit"Everything gets summed up. All actions have consequences, and every action will be met with an even greater reaction. So something you saw in Season 3 and maybe forgot about may just resurface in Season 5."
