I'm sure this question has been answered before, but do we know how close we are to Walt's 52nd birthday at the end of Season 5 Part 1? Like 6 months maybe?

- EW.com: Interactive 'Breaking Bad' digital book out today
Hank discovered some pretty scintillating reading material in Walt’s bathroom in the last episode of Breaking Bad that aired, and now Breaking Bad wants to provide the same for you.

The show’s studio, Sony, has partnered with the producers of AMC’s beloved drug drama to create Breaking Bad: Alchemy, the official digital multi-touch companion book. The book features more than 100 pages of original content and 350-plus interactive elements, including interviews with series creator Vince Gilligan and other producers, a guide to the chemicals referenced on the series, an interactive timeline of which characters have met their demise over the last five seasons, and blueprints and 3-D models of sets. Check out a sample below:

As each of the final eight episodes air, the $7.99 book -- which can be purchased exclusively at the iBookstore starting today -- will update with materials related to those installments. (Guessing that death timeline might see some healthy action during this final run.)
Short video tour via the link.

Anyone buy the iBook for iPad?

I just bought it and will post impressions shortly.
Let us know how it is.

This probably confirms that this second half will probably take place right after what we saw in the beginning of season 5.

Edit:

What a horrible photo. Someone clearly doesn't like Skyler.

You accidentally wrote "someone" when you meant to say "everyone"

Best character is back.

I don't dislike the character, but she sure is the worst actor. Much worse than ol' Bugeyes pictured above.

Saul could tell him that, I hope he finds out about Jane too.

I don't want Jesse to find out about any of that honestly. It's old news in the show and we moved on. I want either Jesse's guilt or something new want does to set him off.

Walt has put some serious effort into manipulating Jesse, I want him to get in trouble, try it once more, get in over his head and get fucked.

Honestly though, I've been assuming thatafter the beginning of this season, Walt was going to save Jesse. I figure everyone else is gone and JEsse is all he has left and he's going to go full Scarface mode to save him.

Finished my rewatch the other day. Realized the show isn't as insanely amazing as I remembered it to be the first time I watched it. Still high quality stuff with some fantastic acting, though.

It did lower my hype for its return.

My guess is that Walt finds himself in a situation that he needs or wants Jesse to shoot/kill him, Jesse won't or can't do it, Walt tells him everything to get him to do it.

Understandable, actually. So much of the show is the ridiculous amount of suspense and tension.

I think if Jesse finds about Jane, it will seem really forced no matter how they do it. Like someone else said, it's old news. I think BB is above trying to close all loose ends just for he sake of it. Just leave it in the past.

Proudly debt free. If you need a couple bucks, just ask.
Have their been any commercials or trailers shown? I haven't been watching much TV but I havent seen anything. Seems odd.

Three short teasers you can watch here. The full trailer will probably be at Comic-Con later this week (and it'll probably just be a series recap with like one or two new scenes).

Beat EviLore at pool.
Odd little thing I noticed while doing a rewatch. During Better Call Saul the block they park on to watch the fake bust going down. They go down a one way street found it pretty funny. Now on 4 Days Out the Fly before the Fly.

Apparently spoilers are all over the place now that the screeners have been released. Watch out on forums, YouTube, etc. on Breaking Bad things.

Related to that, please note that there is a spoiler thread if you want to talk about the leaks. Please do not discuss them in this thread. Thank you.

On Spoilers:

Regular TV thread rules apply:
  • Once an episode airs in the US on the East Coast, it's fair game. Feel free to discuss anything that has aired without using spoiler tags.
  • Anything that hasn't aired yet should be spoiler tagged including information from previews, loglines, trailers, interviews, and a few other places.
There is a spoiler thread if you'd like to discuss leaks, photos, and other content without spoiler tags:

If anything leaks, please use the other thread for discussion.

Thanks for the possible spoiler warning. I don't mind getting spoiled as with this show the journey is just as important. Still, I will cut a motherfucker.
