Its like his style has matured as the series went on

Yeah I switched over to Orange is the New Black, some things you don't need to watch twice.
Perfect for the arid, hot climate of New Mexico.
skyler is more annoying than I remembered on rewatch
Walt! I need you to stay positive. you can't think about leaving us in debt
cancer surgeon: lets get rid of this cancer once and for all
skyler: maybe we should talk about this walt
On a rewatch it's even more mind-boggling how much Skyler is overhated.
Practically everything Skylar does is within the realm of plausibility for anyone in her position. I imagine that people sympathize with Walt and see her reactions from his perspective, which is understandable, I suppose.
Unless he's not in New Mexico anymore. Maybe he's further north in some other New place?

This is gonna be awesome.Mythbusters Breaking Bad trailer: http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/07/19/mythbusters-breaking-bad-trailer/
August 12th. Love what I'm seeing.
every single woman who I know that has watched the show including my own mom instantly hated skylar haha. My mom disliked her from the first damn episode of the series. If you want to imagine the show as some real-life scenario, then yes, Skylar is the most defensible and sympathetic character. However, when you realize that this is actually a television show, and that her character mainly acts as a foil to the wacky hijinks of the main characters that serve as the entire hook, it's not hard to see how she can be seen as a bit of a buzzkill, especially in the earlier seasons. Combine this with the facts that her actress is easily the weak link of the bunch, and that she is often given some truly corny lines, and it becomes clear how absolutely ridiculous the logic of some of the Skylar devotees is (i.e. if you don't like the Skylar character, you must be a real-life misogynist!)
I will never get the Skylar hate. I try but I just can't.

She plays her role well and haters just want Walt to win no matter what.I will never get the Skylar hate. I try but I just can't.

I don't know what it is about this show that makes its fans feel like they can sit on a high horse and judge everyone else solely based on their opinions on certain characters and events in the show. Even worse than "if you don't like Skylar you're a misogynist" is the offensively stupid "if you like Walt you're a bad person".
I'm not calling out anyone in this thread, most all of you are cool people who just like the show. But these sentiments have definitely established themselves in BB discussions all over the internet.
Hope she kills Walt
I hope this happens for the fallout.
A lot has happened since Breaking Bads Walter White made that fateful decision to team up with his former student Jesse to cook and distribute meth. Need a quick recap of whats transpired since then? AMC.com hereby presents Breaking Bad: All Bad Things, a digital comic recapping the first four and a half seasons. Check out the first chapter now then come back in early August to experience the complete online comic. Breaking Bad: All Bad Things is optimized for tablets, smartphones and Internet browsers.

Best BB post I've read in a long time!Haha, same here. The whole with-us-or-against-us pro-Skylar internet defense force always struck me as some kind of bizarre overcompensation.

Remember when the Dark Knight came out in 2008? Everybody was in love with the Joker. In fact I remember almost everyone on GAF having a Joker-fied avatar for the following few months. How come nobody accused any of these people of having a warped moral compass for being so entertained by him? Both Breaking Bad and The Dark Knight are dark and violent dramas that attempt to ground themselves in reality but occasionally require a significant suspension of disbelief.
The Joker was an infinitely more twisted and sadistic villain than Walter White has been so far. How come liking the Joker made you cool and part of the group, while liking Walter White makes you a despicable sociopath?

Gunn doesn't look good at all. Dem sticks for arms. From Comic Con:
Banned last time I checked. What happened to puddles?
Call me ignorant, but I don't think I have seen those sentiments all that much. I mean, yeah, there are a few like that. I guess its just me not surfing other sites, but on Gaf that sentiment seems very tame here.
Banned last time I checked.
I've seen it most on the AV Club's comment section. If you dare to say something positive/negative about Walt/Skyler you are the worst person in the world. Just enjoying Walt's character or acting or writing makes you apparently just as bad as everything Walt's done.
You pinkman is totally gonna fuck up walts shit right
You're one of those Jif, not Gif guys aren't you? Just because a creator says something doesn't mean he is right. Not even Vince Gilligan agrees with the latter.
Then he'll scream about how under appreciated he is and cry as he slowly sinks into a corner. If Jesse somehow summoned the testicular power to kill Walt he'd probably off himself out of remorse.
