Breaking Bad - Season 5 interim thread - the series concludes Summer 2013 on AMC

Beard. Time skip. It's a stretch but it is my theory.

Yeah, but Walt still looks like his regular self still. If part 2 were to immediately take place after the flash forward or, you know, jump ahead to there then he should have hair but he doesn't.

I'm pretty certain the show won't catch up to the flash forward until ep 5 or 6 at the earliest.

EDIT: I can't wait for the twist at the end, when its revealed the entire show was one of skyler's short stories she was working on in the pilot.

im so excited. fucking sucks that i don't have cable. guess i'll have to get creative.

would it be natural for jesse to have such a full beard all of a sudden

because he looks older with it and at the same time it looks earned and not cosmetic

i am going to guess it is jesse around walt's 52nd birthday

We're gonna be in for such a ride. It will be balls when it's over. It feels like it has been forever since I watched breaking bad. Soon it will remind us why it's the best, I think people forget during the offseason :p

it's gotta be super unlikely, but i still want Jesse and Walt to team back up again and somehow get a happy ending. even if Walt doesn't really deserve it.

after all the shit Walt's done to him though, seems impossible at this point.

i didn't forget

i myself think about it every waking morning

when breaking bad is over everything else is gonna suck

i bet all those flies are gonna make so much sense at the end of this show

the fly in the opening to the episode right after walt was a dipshit and killed mike for no reason is some real foreshadowing.. dude's fucking up major.

the shit i don't get, though, is everyone being like "oh man they have so much ground to cover they won't have time to do [x]."

this show has always moved at its own pace. in fact, the pace is what makes breaking bad unique. they can fuck with the passage of time real easily and use it to their advantage. what you realize after you watch the show like three times is that it takes a set amount of time and does with it what it wants. whatever happens in these last 8 is calculated, and they'll do what they want to do with them.

I'm trying to get rid of some digital copies or Ultra Violet whatever it's called in my bluray collection and just noticed season 5.1 has one included. Anyone interested? I assume people might be, so i could do a giveaway. If only one person is interested then that one person can have it. If more people are, I'll think of something for a giveaway!

This probably confirms that this second half will probably take place right after what we saw in the beginning of season 5.

would still bang with the force of 1000 wheelchair ding ding ding explosions

Since (season 5B episode title spoilers only)
"Granite State" aka episode 15 is New Hampshire's nickname
, I'm guessing the flashforward isn't reached until the final two episodes.

Not very.

Episode 9 - Something happens to someone.

Episode 10 - Another thing happens to this person very unexpectedly.

...

Episode 15 - Word - Etymoloty of said word.

Damn Empire have a series of interviews with cast and crew. All fine apart from the writer, Sam Catlin or something? Pretty big spoilers

How spoiler-intensive are the episode descriptions? Might read them if they aren't too bad.

509: Gus Rises From the Grave
510: Lydia Bares All
511: Walt Fucked Ted
512: Todd's Adventures in an Orphanage
513: Gus Goes to Gotham City
514: Walt Jr. Fucked Ted
515: The Episode Where Jesse Doesn't Say "Bitch"
516: Walt Kills Dumbledore

Episode summaries are pretty generic I could have wrote them but if people are trying to stay in the dark I would just avoid it

i can see it in my head

hank will bring up that file with gale's evidence to walt again in a ''hey man i've been thinking about that file thing and i think i'm onto something'' kind of way and steadiily make walt realize that he knows

and i imagine walt's facial expression transforming from ''oh haha that's great news'' to ''heisenberg''

God damn, these descriptions are so bare, they are no spoilers and all hype. I'm only halfway through season 3 on a rewatch and this won't help.

Even the titles, when I saw the title of 15th ep, WOAH
