This is getting weirder all the time
Where can I read about the screeners being leaked (without actually seeing spoilers)?

Also how did the leak of Gus in S4 finale come about in the end? Did we ever find out?

The famous shot of Terminator Gus was everywhere on 4chan and other, less moderated boards alike.
Right, but didn't that come from a makeup artist(?) or someone from on set rather than someone taking screenshots of a screener dvd/stream? I know it ended up everywhere eventually.

i thought the two face gus was fake because it just looked so dumb haha. i'm really mad that i got spoiled by that in hindsight even though i never expected it to be in the show.

i'm definitely gonna work hard to avoid spoilers this time. i'm quite excited to see how this ends and i don't wanna ruin that.

I have a hard time believe someone who got a screener would spoil anything. Maybe the spoilers are fake
I know. It's just a warning. I'm avoiding spoilers myself so I don't know if there really is anything out there. I've just heard a lot of stuff is flying around.

Same, that's why i didn't think much of it when i saw it.

@Cornballer: I'm not sure of its origin, myself, but it was the exact same shot of the episode, IIRC.

I think it looked like a cellphone pic or similarly bad quality pic taken of a screen showing the shot from the episode. Not a direct rip but not a set pic either.

- More details on the Lincoln Center Film Center screenings next week:
It's a big news day for Breaking Bad fans. Just this morning the series picked up seven Primetime Emmy nominations including Outstanding Drama and Outstanding Actor in a Drama for Bryan Cranston. On top of that, the Film Society's partnership with AMC just keeps getting better. In addition to our free screenings of every Breaking Bad episode so far, we are thrilled to announce details about The Perfect Batch: Breaking Bad Cast Favorites. These screenings will take place Thursday, August 1 and Friday, August 2 at the Film Society's Walter Reade Theater.

Thursday's first panel at 6:15pm will feature Anna Gunn, RJ Mitte, and Bob Odenkirk. The three, who play Walter White's wife Skyler, son Walt Jr., and the morally uncentered criminal lawyer Saul Goodman, respectively, will show two of their favorite episodes followed by a Q&A moderated by Matt Zoller Seitz of New York Magazine.

The second panel on Thursday will take place at 9:00pm with multiple Emmy-winning star Bryan Cranston, who will also screen two episodes and engage in a Q&A with Seitz.

Panel 3, which will take place Friday at 6:15pm, will bring actors Betsy Brandt and Dean Norris, who play Marie and Hank Schrader, to the Film Society. Following their two chosen episodes, there will be a Q&A moderated by The New Yorker's Emily Nussbaum.

Our fourth and final panel on Friday at 9:00pm will feature series mastermind and multiple WGA Award winner Vince Gilligan (creator, executive producer, writer, and director), whose previous credits include The X-Files. The Q&A following his two favorite episodes will also be moderated by Nussbaum.

Tickets are $15 for each panel, and a discount package for all four panels will be available for $50. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 19 at noon at our box offices and here at FilmLinc.com.

I remember two-face Gus pic wasn't even that bad quality-wise, it was a pretty clear shot. Obviously not HD level, but far above cellphone pic of a screen.

I'm a sucker for spoilers, but I think I will resist the temptation this time. It's too close to the end. I don't really mind them as much as many others on this board too, but when we're in clear end game territory I'd rather go as unspoiled as possible.

- Full list of Emmy nominations from AMC:
The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced this morning the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Award nominations, recognizing Breaking Bad with a total of 13 nominations -- the most in the series' history, including the first-ever writing nominations for the episodes "Dead Freight," written by George Mastras, and "Say My Name," written by Thomas Schnauz.

Three-time Emmy winner Bryan Cranston was once again nominated for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series, and two-time Emmy winner Aaron Paul repeated in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category, along with a second consecutive nomination for Anna Gunn for Outstanding Supporting Actress and first time series nomination for Jonathan Banks for Outstanding Supporting Actor. The series also garnered nominations for Michelle MacLaren for Outstanding Directing, Michael Slovis for Outstanding Cinematography along with two nominations for Outstanding Editing and nominations for Outstanding Sound Editing and Outstanding Sound Mixing.

I never follow the emmys, because usually i don't watch a lot of TV shows, but this year i've seen a bunch and i'm kind of weirded out that they didn't give Tatiana a nomination for Orphan Black.
So i guess i should keep not giving a shit about them like the Oscars?

Anyway, hopefully Top of the Lake wins everything it can, it's the best thing i've seen all year.

That's fine, they're both great shows.
I liked Top of the lake more, though.

Besides their format was quite different, Top of the Lake felt more like an extended movie, the episodes weren't even cut to create any minimal sense of suspense for the next one.

Dead Freight is one of the single greatest episodes of television I've ever watched. My heart raced nonstop during the train scene.

This show seriously has the best writers in television. The heist is not without it's complications, but in the end they pull it off successively.

And then in true BB fashion, a big fat wrench is thrown into the mix in the last minute. Characters in this show never have very much time to celebrate anything :p

It's hard for me to put either Dead Freight or Say My Name on top of one another. It's fantastic that both got writing noms.

Season 5, Part I bloopers

I always like this stuff!
Good find!

Speculation based purely on episode titles:
Episode 514's title certainly doesn't bode well for the continued existence of Walt's Empire Business

Are we ever going to find out Gus past? I gotta know!

I image we'll get a couple more hints. Lydia will mention something about him, or there will be a new character with a connection to him. There won't be another Gus flashback or anything like that though.

Has this been posted? From the Netflix UK and Ireland Facebook page. Important part is in the corner.

Looks like it'll be the same deal as the The Killing, new episodes added the day after airing in the US. Perfect.

I was about to post this. Awesome if true

Man, I don't think I've ever been this hyped for a TV show. Every time I think about the fact that it's coming back in a few weeks I get giddy and smile.

Watching the Friday night reruns right now, last two episodes of season two, Jesus H these are hard to watch. Brutal stuff.

Also, I'd totally forgotten that they introduce Mike in ep 213.

Please no spoiler talk in here. My mouse hand is weak and will instinctively highlight and then regret soon afterwards.

Most perfect description. I did click on that apparently spoilery interview with the writer (I am THAT weak), read one thing, and then fled because no. I can wait. I... can... wait. I want that nail-biting tension every week.
