It isn't legally binding.
Cameron refuses the result and quits the position of PM. His final saving grace.
I might dislike him less if he did that...
It isn't legally binding.
I don't understand the economic perspective of Leave voters. Do they not believe that leaving has a detrimental impact on their country's economy? Do they not care, or think that that applies to them?
See, there's a slight problem with telling people in perpetual economic insecurity that they'll face perpetual economic insecurity by voting for Brexit.
Noooo Farage saying we won.....dangerous dangerous
A few days of volatility? I think we have drastically different expectations about how markets react to massive, prolonged uncertainty. A leave vote will reverberate for years before we even begin to understand its effects.
So if I understand this right, the leave result could still be overturned by the government?
So if I understand this right, the leave result could still be overturned by the government?
And how likely is it that Brexit will cause some of the more heavily euroskeptic governments to feel emboldened enough to try exiting as well?
So if I understand this right, the leave result could still be overturned by the government?
Will Cameron resign over this and his idea of calling the referendum in the first place?
I cant believe some of ya'll are arguing that voters cant be trusted with important decisions like this.
Seriously?
My side looks like losing but I appreciate the vote. We were treated like the adults we are who can decide on important issues. Thats the kind of democracy I WANT. I dont want my vote watered down by some repesentative system where polticians can be bribed to vote one way or another.
BNO News @BNONews
BREAKING: British pound plummets more than 9% to lowest level since 1985
This is historic. We're watching the UK destroy its economy in real time. And people are being smug about it, as though it's a good thing. Holy shit.
It makes sense (if you are an idiot who will burn your house down to "fix" something). They hate immigrants. Immigrants come to progressive countries for economic opportunity. If you burn your economy to the ground it makes your country a lot less enticing to immigrants. Thus problem solved!I don't understand the economic perspective of Leave voters. Do they not believe that leaving has a detrimental impact on their country's economy? Do they not care, or think that that applies to them?
the pound falling to the dollar has cost me 6 thousand pounds in less than 12 hours. holy fuck.
"not a single bullet being fired"
what a fucking disgrace speaking that erroneous disrespectful bullshit.
Pretty worried I'm going to lose my job and my house over this. Does leaving not cause massive issues for companies and therefore employing people in this country?
"Done it without a bullet being fired"
Okay m8
So according to Farrage this is our independence day like that US movie about the aliens. What an odd pop culture reference to drop.
Yeah that's what's nuts. Maybe a million, possibly less people are going to tank the UK economy.![]()
This still ain't 2008.
Certain things should take larger margins than 51-49.
why? you have pounds you want to spend on buying USD? wasn't it a bit risky to have that position over the vote?

As I stated earlier in this thread. Our massive UK client base is just gone. Many jobs are at stake, feels bad man.
