someone with some sense of responsibility create a topic in the online community so those who actually want to play, especially pc gamers, can coordinate with one another.

I'm in the same boat. Didn't get a key at all but a download link. Apparently it's for the NA version?! Downloading anyway, it's only 5 gig.Dina said:As an EU buyer who bought from the UK D2D store, I sure hope they fix their keys stat. Really would hate to screw over friday because I'm located outside of the UK when I bought Brink, which stated that The Netherlands was an eligible country to buy from.

Wrong. Extremely wrong. Psychologically and logically wrong. It is VERY HARD to play a game "to win" aka fully immersed using your full attention and talk about something other than how to play to win. It is very much like playing the piano. You just don't realize how dumb you look and sound when playing games. Nobody does. It takes self awareness to recognize such a thing. When 100% immersed in a game, you don't have the time to stop and realize it took 3 seconds to respond to someone right in front of you.To you, the conversation is going fine, to the other person you sound like your iq dropped 75 points. Your mouth is agape amongst other oddities. Nobody has 150% attention. Not even self-absorbed leet-dumbasses on Gaf.vidal said:Some of the Giantbomb-defenders are acting like talking while playing a game and maintaining situational awareness is hard to do. It's not.

So people voicing their legitimate concerns about a game which was knowingly shipped broken is trolling in your opinion? Lol, keep it classy Splash Damage. I'm sure Zenimax will make the right decision in a few months.DeanoCalver said:Need to blow off all the steam building up ignoring trolls all day, playing this broken game for a bit sounds like a good cure
360 - DeanoC if anybody wants to kick my arse or swear at my for being useless (i'm useless at Brink btw, srsly really really bad )

Ramirez said:Well, I did all of the 2 star challenges and hopped online, the game is pretty freaking awesome, IMO. This is just after 2 matches, the 2nd did have some lag issues towards the end of it, but it seemed to correct itself in a minute or two.

In only 2 matches I already want to smack the 1UP reviewer for saying building things like shortcuts are pointless, good lord.
Don't let the reviews scare you off from this one, if the guy posting in here from SD is any indication, I'm pretty confident the lag will be cleaned up in due time, the actual gameplay is really good, especially if you like objective based games. This isn't a lone wolf slayer game, so stay away if that's you.

So knowingly shipping broken products is better? How would you feel if Samsung shipped knowingly broken TVs and brushed off those affected? You would expect severe consequences.Genesis Knight said:360 or PC?

My impression is that the most severe issue (framerate) is fixed or at least made much better by turning of AO, haven't seen many framerate complaints for a while now. The "blue screen (not of death)" (which I've seen pop-up a lot) seems to be fixable (temporarily?) by deleting the .cfg (the game will make a new one). Haven't seen any fixes for the sound disappearing and things like that though. Your mileage may vary, but I feel like I'm seeing less and less complaints.KiKaL said:So is the percentage of PC users having troubles really high? This game kind of flew under my radar but looks like something I'd enjoy. This thread is kind of scaring me off though. I do have an upper tier quad core system.
See the top of the page and try to not be an asshat towards a guy working to fix your problems.Mr_Brit said:So people voicing their legitimate concerns about a game which was knowingly shipped broken is trolling in your opinion? The right decision meaning that they will stop support for this game? So that means you have no interest in the game or its future remind what you're doing in this thread again?Mr_Brit said:I'm sure Zenimax will make the right decision in a few months.

By right decision I mean hopefully getting rid of the devs who ensured the game shipped broken and keeping the rest and giving them a chance as they clearly have a lot of talented people working there. I'm not hoping for their closure, just consequences for the people who messed up.Detox said:The right decision meaning that they will stop support for this game? SD is just ~65 people, any loss would be hazardous.Mr_Brit said:So knowingly shipping broken products is better? How would you feel if Samsung shipped knowingly broken TVs and brushed off those affected? You would expect severe consequences.
I'm sure a large part of Splash Damage are good guys but that still means that they have to suffer the consequences for the actions of the bad guys in their company as they operate as one group.
Ideal situation would be for the guys who messed up to go and let the others have another chance.
Really? I'm sure they could trim like 5 people, just get rid of the people responsible, can't be more than 5.derFeef said:SD is just ~65 people, any loss would be hazardous.
I am just shaking my head and with that out of this argument now.Mr_Brit said:Really? I'm sure they could trim like 5 people, just get rid of the people responsible, can't be more than 5.
