HP Mini 1035nr (Atom 1.6GHZ, 1 GB RAM, 60GB Hard Drive) - $200 firm Currently has Jolicloud OS installed. Jolicloud is a linux-based operating system that is ideal for netbooks. Runs great for general web surfing, e-mail, skype and lite applications (word processing, etc.). Has front facing camera. Comes with extended battery (up to 6-7 hours on one charge) and the original battery (3 hours on one charge) plus charger. Screen is nice, there is one small black dot on the screen, doesn't obscure anything. Screen is not pixelated as it looks in the picture.

This baby can play 95% of all the PC games out there at max settings at 1920x1200, or sans a few graphical settings at that res depending on the game. If you game at lower than that, the system can deal with that spectacularly. I think I got 30+ fps out of The Witcher 2 with ubersampling on at 720p which I found rather amusing. Most games run over 40 fps at max or near max settings at that res if I recall, though I can't benchmark the game for you until tomorrow.

I won't be able to take pictures of it tomorrow but please let me know if you're interested in anything I've talked about in this post.

Note: I would very much like to sell the pc with the parts listed as a whole instead of segmenting them out. I need the money for bills and such.

Already mentioned it in previous pages, but I want to turn it into a media box for my girlfriend. She has a pretty extensive movie collection, but doesn't want her sister, her future roommate, touching her movies. (She bought Dr. Parnassus and that same day her sister borrowed it, then lost it. My GF didn't even get to unwrap it from the shrinkwrap). So, when I mentioned that she could put all her movies on the xbox and not have to worry about her sister wanting to grab one to watch it, she jumped on board.

Personally, I think that the Xbox is STILL the best budget option for a home media center. Especially for 2 young girls moving into their first apartment. Every penny saved is like $10 earned.

My only worry is that my xbox has a Thomson drive...
