There was a voucher for 5 DLC vehicles for the collector's edition. Not sure about the normal edition.

The additionals refers to the keychain, car, book, and certificate of authenticity.

Hello all. Recently got sick, and being laid off and no insurance means I have a bill due. Sucks, but time to sell some things of mine. I accept Paypal (via bank preferred), Did a number of buys and a couple sales last year. So...here's what I have:

Model 2 Genesis, 32x, and Sega CD system: ALL cables included, although I only have 32x games to go with this. Sega CD work well with Sonic CD I found, but am not selling that (yet...) I have the original box with the Sega CD, but its up to you if you want that separately shipped (as I am trying to save whoever buys this on shipping cost, as the box is large). No controller (stupid 3rd party one I had was a bust) but all systems checked out fine on testing.

SPARE 32X add-on. Was iffy when I tested this one (I got the one above for the connecting cable) but works with some playing around) Includes a game.

Hey guys I have a good amount of games I want to sell but I've never really mailed any kind of boxes or w/e before. I've traded stuff in to Amazon but they give you the label and it's free so all you have to do is find a box so that was easy. Anyway how do you do it you just write the persons address on a label, put it on a box then take it to the post office? Then there they tell you how much it costs to send or something? I'm not really sure how it goes if anyone could let me know.

I want to sell on here since i'd probably get a few more bucks per game than on Amazon but i'm worried about if I send a package and then something is delayed somewhere along the way and the other person things I haven't sent it etc., it would be stressful until I know for sure they got the package. Do mistakes happen often or is it not that big of a deal to worry about?

I'm actually working on a Beginner's Guide right now that helps address that question for you. For now, go check out the flat-rate boxes from the United States Post Office. If it's a DVD-case game, it takes a little bit of angling but they'll fit inside of a small Flat-rate box, or a padded flat-rate envelope. It's about $5 to send it anywhere in the country, priority mail. If you buy the postage online, you even get delivery confirmation at no extra charge.

Depending on how into it you are going to be, you may want to purchase supplies in bulk in advance - or just go to a place like Target/Wal-Mart and buy some bubble mailers. You will obviously save more the more you buy...

You can then use PayPal/eBay or USPS.com to print postage at home (get some good clear packing tape so you can affix the postage). You can buy cheap scales online or just guess (most games are around 4-8oz.). You will save time/money by printing at home.

With USPS it's around $2-4 to send a game First Class with Delivery Confirmation...you should consider adding insurance, too...at about $1.75 more.

The USPS is real reliable..stuff usually doesn't go down. Unless someone lives in an APT or something and people are ganking packages.

The cheapest way is to get a big box of bubble mailers (#2 was recommended because it can fit games/DVD's and boxsets) such as this: http://cgi.ebay.com/50-2-8-5-x-12-B...4?pt=BI_Mailers_Envelopes&hash=item4aa8a346b8

Just make sure you watch the shipping ordering from ebay as some can come with really high shipping. That particular one has free shipping which is optimal.

Print off a shipping label from paypal because you get delivery confirmation at a reduced price. PS2/360/PS3 maybe PS1 games are about 8 ounces which will cost you about $2 a bit more or less depending on where for shipping. Not sure about cartridge games but just get the weight of one, round up a bit and make that your goto weight.

So, all told if you can get the bubble mailers for a reasonale price like my example, you should be able to ship any game for less than $3 First Class.

I don't think insurance is a good idea to be honest. I would only add it to pretty highly priced items simply because the majority of your packages will be fine. If you're shipping out a lot of 5 and 10 dollar games you are basically throwing money down the drain because a high percentage will be fine most likely all of them. Yeah, it's nice to have the security but it's probably going to be a lot cheaper in the short and long run to just give the person a refund if their game doesn't happen to arrive. You'll have delivery confirmation to prove you did ship it out so you're safe from damage to your reputation as far as I can see. Any losses to you will probably be negligable considering what you saved. Once you get up into higher priced stuff though the losses may not be as negligable and it's time to start looking at insurance and decide if it's worth it.

I don't think so. I don't claim to be an expert on it, but as far as I know you would have to disassemble the hard drive casing and put it in an original 360's hard drive casing. It's probably not very difficult but it certainly voids your warranty.

Padded envelopes can be had 2-3 for a dollar at a dollar store. If you can weigh your packages I advise that you use Paypal's online shipping label to print labels and tape to your packages. This lets you just drop them off at the box in your local post office (if under 13oz) and is much cheaper and automatically includes delivery confirmation.

If you'll kindly redirect your attention to the very first post in the thread, you'll hopefully notice that there's some nice, subtle new OP images. I figured it was time to finally add something nice to the OP rather than just text. I know it's nothing groundbreaking, but I'm pretty happy with them and it makes the OP less of an eyesore.

As I just implied, the Beginner's Guide is entirely community-sourced. I messaged a survey to the top buyers/sellers in this thread and used their responses in the creation of this document. I listed them in the document, but I'd like to take a moment to say thanks to all of the people that responded to the survey again. Your help was invaluable to me, and I'm certain it will be invaluable to newcomers to this thread.

It is my most sincere hope that this document helps a lot of you lurkers that pop into the thread and are confused about some aspect of the thread. Hopefully with these changes, we warrant a Community Spotlight thread over in the Gaming side. (hint, hint.)

EDIT: I've decided to sweeten the pot a bit. If anyone has or could get a copy of Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll (new or used in good condition) for me, I'd be willing to trade both Two Worlds II AND Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (both PS3). I'm fairly sure that together, TW2 and CV:LoS are worth more than even a new copy of Trinity. If interested, PM me please.
