Do you also use any additional software to further clear off data? I see people recommending all types of software for a "hard" clean so data can't be recovered but I can't tell if they are paid marketers.

I usually do a clean restore in iTunes. But make sure to remove the phone from iCloud or the person you sell it to won't be able to activate it.

Correct, I haven't had any issues with using bubble mailers. The cost is usually around $2.60, if you are shipping one game, when you use the Paypal Ship Now link (https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_ship-now)

First class for most games should be like 2.45-2.83 (scale here: http://blog.stamps.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/first-class-mail-parcels1.jpg) . Plus the wrapping. If you plan on selling a bunch just wrapping cases in brown kraft paper you can get a roll for 2.00 at Walmart, is probably the most economical.

If you're shipping something you are invested in flat rate padded's (6.80) are good, and you'll get $50 insurance and tracking.

Heavier, larger items should be shipped using Regional Rate boxes if not moving far West or East, Zone wise. Maps can be found online.

Once moving far (East Coast to CA for ex) and package is heavy, at that point, flat rates may start to save money. People lose a lot of money shipping using flat rate and just not knowing other options exist.

just be sure you go to settings-icloud-find my iphone and turn it off. it will clear any issues your buyer will have with setting up the iphone for themselves.

no real additional software required. just go to settings -> general -> reset -> erase all content and settings.

might also turn off imessage if you have it on in settings before erasing.
