Indeed, I really hope they sort this. I remember when one of the previous games screwed up the footstep sounds too so you couldn't tell the direction they were coming from, I believe it was blops1, damn that made me rage.

Yup. You appear as a sort of "ping" on the radar. Not your normal red outline but a sort of "water drop ripple effect" ping if you will. Only lasts a second when you boost but it's enough in close quarters. I run blast supp on almost every single class.

Yeah I don't get that design decision so now blast suppressor has to be used on every class. I can't think of one reason not to use blast suppressor. I have perk 3 greed on every class right now.

Finally got the sentinel recon exo, half the time I don't realize I'm unlocking anything until I check the armory.

Have been using the marine exo before that just because of how much it looks like a slightly less bulky version of the AYNIK suit.

Depends on the game mode. If you're playing ground war or are on a smaller map, someone seeing you is irrelevant to how fast you can close in on them.

The lag in this game is insane. I enjoy the multiplayer and a lot of the new game modes are really fun, just a shame it's pretty much unplayable. I always thought Destiny's crucible was laggy but in comparison to this it's nothing.

On the rare occasion I get in a lobby that doesn't have poor connections all-around, it's loads of fun.

I played with the exos for like an hour and didn't do that well, switched to the classic playlist and my K/D shot way up right away. I like the exos but it makes things too chaotic. I feel like I don't have enough control over how I'm dying when I play with the exos.

I was getting tired of lag and losing 1 on 1 fights like 90% of the time, even long range ones, so I started exclusively using one-hit kill weapons.
MORS with ACOG scope for better peripheral vision, shotgun and railgun pistol with range increasing addons.
My K/D almost tripled since, I am now able to get 500-600 scorestreaks, sometimes even twice per match.
No more frustration during shootouts, enjoying the game a lot more!

I really want to give MORS+ACOG a try but goddamn it, 20 kills to unlock it? Sniper gameplay is so fucking dull lol

Well, at least I'm making some people mad by camping and killing them and then giving them the gratification of getting an easy kill out of me

e: just got my 20th kill with it and quit the game but it still thinks i've only got 19 kills with it? do you keep anything you get in a match if you quit halfway through?

I really like the game but holy shit is it hard, I have never struggled this bad, almost every round I am negative. I love the movement, some net code and lag issues which can hopefully be fixed.

I was playing a game last night and a whole team was doing it. They would just point in a direction and fire before the gun was even fulled raised and get one shots constantly. It was the dumbest thing I'd ever seen in these games...

And yeah on the guns what the hell. Absolutely baffled by some of the decisions there. Why are there SMGs and LMGs that force you to dual wield? Basically guaranteeing nobody will use them.

Thanks, that's what I figured. Some might not agree but that seems fairly balanced to me. I don't personally notice the ripple on the mini map as often or as easily as I notice a big solid red dot. I'll see it every now and then but I usually miss it because I'm too busy looking at the main screen to notice the brief blip. The red dots I'll definitely notice but the blips are a bit easier to miss. So even if you're boosting without Blast Supressor, not everyone will necessarily notice you're close by (from my own experience).

It's a game mechanic. Tap reload once to do a normal reload. If you're double tapping then you reload faster but lose the ammo you have left in the clip.

I'm falling in love with the IMR after using the HBR for about 15 ranks. I loce the rapid 3 round burst which is so smooth with little to no recoil.

They just need to fix it. I've only played a total of 2 hours in game and i've seen that warning/tip during load sequences like 30 times. SH need to address the glitch where most weapons are dumping ammo from the magazine regardless of quick vs slow reload.
