I feel like there's little to no hype on this one?

Warzone has taken such a large part of the pie that the rest brings low interest. It's a strange period for this franchise in my opinion.

I have zero interest in new COD, and I couldn't stay alive for more than 10 seconds in the BF6 beta, so...no FPS pew pew pew for me for now, I guess. When I have nothing to play I can always default to a FPS online and just zone out, but even that is going away.

As someone who doesn't play that kind of thing regularly, my first few games of BF6 were dogshit but fun. I did eventually get to a point where I wasn't in a death to kill ratio. You can't play BF like most games tho and it takes a bit to unlearn typical shooter behavior.

I'm a big COD fan but this one just doesn't look interesting for some reason
I'll wait until BO6 drops from COD HQ and then just buy that on sale

looks absolutely awful. is the whole campaign just in some sort of dream world? i can't stand that shit. never liked futuristic CoDs so this is probably the easiest skip ever (and i have game pass).

i wish they showed some mp footage but i just saw a clip from earlier today that had small jetpack usage so that solidifies my choice.

it's like we just reran 2009-2015 cod by doing 2019-2025. We are officially in the "WTF is this" stage again before we go back to "boots on the ground" in 2 years right? Lol

I was playing Domination as Support. I tried to capture objectives and keep pressure on whichever one was contested. I used my barrier shield, I tried to revive squad members and teammates, I dumped ammo... But my random squaddies were always just trying to farm kills close to spawns or choke points. Enemy squads just mowed me down lol. I am still open to trying the full game at release, but my luck with finding cool people to play with is zero and things with randos never works out.

MW4 needs to go back to the basics and add destruction. I Bet they do both. SUpposed to be current gen only and a new engine

Honestly, the beta has me spending the money so I'm thinking a lot of the people that wanna play COD will disappear on the full release and hopefully the people leftover will be pretty cool and play the game as intended.

Meh.... Why is black ops still a thing. Its not black ops, that really stopped along time ago. Its more like slop ops or whatever the f they throw in it.
What happened to traditional soldiers and fighting. Why does it all have a fortnite or rb6 siege feel?
I remember when Cod and medal of honor first came out. They were modelling real ww2 soldiers, tactics, battles and ballistics, now they model nikki manage.

Honestly, maybe I have just outgrown this franchise. Last one I played was cold war, but the install size was too big and i had tons of other games i play so it went bye bye fast.

MW1 reboot and ww2 were the last good cod games for me, that I actually played online.
Favorites are cod2, mw1 and 2 (2000s ),waw, and ww2.

Yes! I'm sour on gaming so I lean towards the pessimistic side these days haha. I've had better social experiences overall on BF over the years so I have some hope lol. I'll wait on COD until a deep sale.

This looks like one of those off the wall ubisoft DLCs you get with the later farcry games, where in comparison to the grounded main game they say fuck it, lets go wild! But, this is the actually main game! This is so far from what COD use to be, I was laughing all the way through the trailer. It's a complete parody. Who had a 500ft boss battle on their bingo card for this one?? Haha.

The problems with COD MP for me are:
1. Maps are atrocious, they don't have a logic flow, too much angles to check everywhere, you get insta-deleted.
2. Disbanding lobbies after each match, ping is not priority, skill based matchmaking is too strong even in casual lobbies.
3. Complete clusterfuck for the aesthetics, dragons meet cartoons and robots, Fortnite skins galore.

ahahahahah.. they brought back the axo flying shit with that big ass jumps that no one loved back in the day.

ahahahahaha I am so fucking out.

what a trash. BF for me this year. IW. please do ur magic next year. you are our only hope for a decent COD . fuck this shit.

If I were to check this out it'd be on Game Pass. I don't see a point in buying it. Every new COD is like a flash in the pan. It's fun for a few days and then it's old and put down, lol.

This looking like absolute crap (more than usual) and next to BF6, it could really be a turning point for COD and the "too big to fail" recent comments.

People said the same in 2016 with Infinite Warfare vs. BF 1.

I can see Black Ops 7 dropping in sales (likely would even whitout Battlefield) but turning point probably not.

CoD has a huge base that likes these elements that more "refined" players see as crap.
