Sniper nests? Hell no. You get up there with the M60 and you earn yourself some kill streaks. I loved that level.
Not if I'm in the match, you'll be gone in 10 seconds then. Hate that fucking tower.

I think it's just "new game/map syndrome" right now. Whenever a new CoD, or map pack for one, comes out, people have this very strange way of exploring the maps - by sitting still in a corner.

lol I'm still baffled to the day as to how I can unload a clip with steady aim, FMJ, long barrel into a guy who isn't even facing me, get hit markers, and then die in one shot.

Of course, the kill cam shows me aiming into a wall and buddy has already circled around me. =\

Just FYI, FMJ does not add to your damage and it never has in any CoD.

Even still, my point stands. I shouldn't be losing gun fights when on my screen, I have a clear advantage over the opposing player and still lose the gun battle... BADLY.

Man I'm really frustrated right now. MW2, BLOPS1, MW3 I have always been a solid player. I'm not saying im the greatest player in the world, but the way BLOPS2 has turned out makes me look like i'm some scrubby noob.

SMR with target finder and select fire is vicious, you guys werent kidding. Then throw in either foregrip or quickdraw handle or laser sight or whatever your flavor is. Been using that with shock bombs and bouncing bettys (scavenger with this almost OP) and I think I have finally turned the tide on the SMG heroes.

For killstreaks Im going UAV, Sentry Gun, and either Hellfire missile or Lightning Strike. Those are low enough to get pretty consistently but also provide good kills. The sentry gun in particular is a freaking beast, its on steroids.

I went from struggling hard to be 14-15 to going 30-13, and Im not that great.

Okay i finally gave in and switched to the R870 after getting my ass handed to me by a lagging Shotgun user. Couple of rounds later i got my first Warthog on Nuketown and it's surprisingly fun. But with the small maps and the lag it almost feels like CoD has become an instant gib game. Kinda lame to play like this but it is what it is.

Fixes:
Escort Drone spawning under the map and repeatedly killing the player that launched it.
Dragonfire unable to be deployed.
Theater mode User Interface issue.
Those are the KNOWN fixes. The official patch notes haven't been released. Hopefully something with netcode and match making is addressed. Haven't played today though. Anyone seeing any improvements in connections/lag?

Well I just spent half a match not getting any hit markers on anyone, was a right shitty game. But a friend and I were finally able to get into a ground war match without the constant dread of balancing over and over.

I haven't had any of the "balancing teams when the lobby is full over and over" crap after the patch, but IMO the lag is as bad as ever.

I'm on vacation this week. Was planning on getting in as much play time as possible but the lag is so bad that the game is just unplayable.

Good thing there is college basketball on all week to keep me occupied.

Already getting fed up with this game, I had more fun playing MW3.

AR's can't combat SMG's
Only I take out UAV's
Host migration leading to the lobby closing
Auto-aim following targets when they're behind objects
Sometimes it still takes ages to find a server
Lag

Max FOV increased to 90
Fix: Horse falling through the world in Afghanistan when playing on some CPUs with 4 or more cores
Fix: RC-XD and the AGR sinking into the map in MP when playing on some CPUs with 4 or more cores
General performance improvements in SP, MP, and ZM for CPUs with 4 or more cores
Fix: crash when a 7th player tries to join a 6 player league lobby
Improved dedicated server matchmaking
Fix: some cases of "Connection Interrupted" in MP while loading into a match
 
Sorry for asking this, but does anyone happen to have a 2-day XBL pass that they aren't going to use? The pass I used for Halo is close to expiring, but I wanted to Redbox this game this weekend. It's not much use to me without MP. :)
