- Straight up console port. Don't expect to use a kb/m and enjoy yourself with the menus. The game too, for that matter, since the game was designed to be used with an analog stick it never feels right to use a mouse (example: the limited head movement during the in-game cutscenes)
- Separate exe's for each of the three modes. On steam this means that you end up installing three different icons, two of which don't have a graphic so you just get the ugly mini windows icon. You CAN switch between modes from the main menu of each EXE but it just quits to windows and loads up whatever you selected.
- Cutscenes in the campaign are low-res/blurry and I noticed a really odd case of LOD pop-in within them... pretty lame for a pre-rendered cut-scenes.
As to the game itself:
I haven't played a CoD game since MW2 and this feels like some ancient relic tech-wise. I should have known what I was getting into, though. I was hoping that being one of the biggest series' in the industry would mean that the pc version would get some extra love that many recent games have been getting, but I guess not.
Anyway, I'm sure the game is a lot of fun once you get past the tech and port issues but I was definitely expecting more from Activision and Treyarch.
WHAT??!!! are you high or something, it feels ok with kb/mouse. All CODs on PC are separete exes
