How can they call something out that's complete bullshit?
Was there ever an official statement on why our uploaded videos differ from the actual gameplay? Some guys said its because you're looking at the game from the hosts perspective.
Maybe it is because the game is 60fps and upon rendering they simply skip every 2nd frame?!

I thought the MW3 campaign was easily the most exciting in terms of off the wall crazy stuff going on.
Keep in mind that since the story is completely dumb that I just go with the flow while humming "Im an American Soldier".

I hit the 24 hour milestone today. I'm still having a lot of fun with the game, but... I suck. My K/D ratio is like .5 lower than it was in Black Ops. I know that this shouldn't have an effect on my enjoyment of the game (it doesn't really), but it's frustrating and makes me play worse because I rage when I start a match 0-4. Going even is like a success for me in this game.
Is anyone else significantly worse at this game than the past titles? I haven't even bothered trying the assault package — for me to string together more than three or four kills is just total luck. I thought maybe Stalker was throwing off my aim, but I tried playing without it and I just feel so sluggish, so scratch that idea. :|
At least my air drop traps still work 90% of the time.

Just saw someone go 46(kills)-51(deaths) in domination just quickscoping, and that is probably the oddest final statline I've ever seen.

Why? Most games I start out 0 - 4 or worse and ill end 20 and 9 or better. Some games take some adjusting. Maybe you are using a new weapon... maybe you are lagging... maybe the people you are playing are camping. There are tons of variables in the game that could affect your particular play style, but it is hardly a chore to adjust to it.
I would say no. At least, not right now. The maps are wonkier than most other editions and the spawn system is kinda messed up too.
When you say you've been a naysayer since MW1, does that mean you've played MW1? If you didn't like that, you probably won't like this one. On the other hand, if you've never played MW1, go get it. It's pretty awesome
I have played MW1, but not the multiplayer part. The singleplayer was so boring that, at the time, I felt the game couldn't possibly offer anything substancial in the multiplayer front. And the thing is, I can't try MW1's, since it still used Punkbuster, and well, the bloody program detests the Steam version for some reason.

The multiplayer is awesome. You definitely need to play it. If you don't like the multiplayer in MW1, I don't see how you'll like MW3.
If you feel that the singleplayer in MW1 is boring, you probably won't find this one's singleplayer mode any fun either.

No, go MW2. I haven't played MW3 for a few weeks but jumped back in yesterday, pretty disgusted how hardcore the camping is, seen guys just sit in one hallway/corner the whole game.

The multiplayer is fantastic, but it's very difficult. If you go into it knowing:
I don't care about my stats
I don't care about killstreaks
I don't care about dying every 10 seconds
...then you'll probably have fun. One of my good friends is happily rocking a .4 KDR and never manages more than 12-15 kills in a Domination match. He is loving it.
I can't speak to the single player-haven't touched it.
You just have to disable the steam overlay. Also it doesn't hurt to manually update punkbuster with that pbsetup tool. Hope this helps.

Assassin Pro makes you invisible to air stuff and UAVs.
And yes, air strikes are way too strong when it comes to killing through walls and roofs.
If someone is camping in an area with 8 possible ways to come behind them, that's much less infuriating than dying to constant air support, noob tube spam, OMA, etc.

unskilled fucking garbage needs to stay the fuck away from this game.
i play solo and i'm always on top of my team leaderboard if the lobby is not too laggy. i am tired trying to carry unskilled garbages and end up losing the game.

These maps are still not well designed in my opinion, but I'm learning my way around a few of them. Arkaden and Village in particular getting easier for me to handle.
Yes, MW2's multiplayer is far superior IMHO. It's maps are infinitely better.
It has it's share of bullshit, like all cod games, but there's never a dull moment in 2.
I think IW should take notes from Epic for their next MW3 patch.
I'd really like to hear "Enemy Forces!" when the game decides to spawn the entire enemy team inches away from my pooper (yes, I am exaggerating... slightly).
Blind Eye (perk slot 1) makes you invisible to helicopters, predator missiles, etc.
Assassin (perk slot 2) makes you invisible to UAV, portable radar, heartbeat sensors, thermal scopes.

Although the maps for MW2 are better the amount of people spamming grenade launchers and akimbo this and that is, IMO, not worth it at all.
So pretty much how it was in MW2.
Ive gotten a good amount of kills with it but its so easy to bring it down. Not even worth it at times.

I can understand frustration with people being bad at the game. It still doesn't give anyone an excuse to say "All newbies should stay away because they're trash." Everyone was terrible at some point.
The more people play the game, the better.

If you are playing just to get wins, then I agree.
If however you are playing to have fun and chat with friends, then your approach is ridiculous. With kids, career and commitments I would much rather spend an hour losing with friends than dominating solo.
To each his own; thankfully the game allows for both.
mw2 was lag free, your bullets always hit target right on. its a way more polished game than bo and mw3. i feel like we are playin paid public beta right now, the developers are slowly polishing the game. I think mw3 will be the last cod i purchase on day one.
noobtubes never bothers me because tubing spots can be avoided if you know where they are. plus running and tubing never do as well as running and gunning. if you think you got bullshit on, you can bring out your bullshit setup too. now when i play mw2, rarely do i see any super knife soldiers and oma tubers, most people are just running and gunning.
only the lag makes me rage, that's why i sold blops first month. i hate that when i clearly shot the target first then i lost the gunfight, or as soon as i start firing, i am already dead when i check the killcam, i never even fired a bullet.
plus in mw2 everyone uses stopping power, you never get shit on by ghost/assassin users from the back.
imo mw2 was the best cod.
For all the problems these maps have the one thing they do right is make it anti-camper. There are so many damn paths and turns in the maps it's impossible to find a good camping spot without the possibility of getting shot in the back.

My K/D in every single COD is above 2.0, including this one (making me, by your dumb metrics, a lot better at this series of games then you are), and the lag, maps, killcams are BY FAR the worst in the series. They're not "excuses."

The corner? Sure, you're limiting yourself to only covering two paths most of the time but that could be said of most FPS ever. It's quite preferable if the only good camping spots are at the corner instead of randomly in the middle of maps.

This happens to me all the time. There'll be times where I'm defending the flag, in Team Defender for example, and I'll go prone or hide behind cover when I hear someone coming (I got Turtle Beaches on w/Dead Silence) and I'll unload half a clip into a dude yet sometimes I still die. That's with a 20 down 4 up connection. I watch the kill cam only to see that I only shot one to two bullets. L-O-fucking-L.
