Talking about March DLC? This is how it's been for the past few years, what did you expect without Elite?
As for MOABs, I've gotten two, both with the P90. Last time I played I got close to getting a few in FFA but never quite did. Still have my winstreak though, if I ever get the chance to play.
I've never been on the wrong side of a MOAB, fortunately.

After playing a good amount of matches, I gotta say the quality of the matches I was put in was all over the place. Hard to say if it's better or worse for me, but something I did notice is that players were freezing and teleporting alot more. This just wasn't happening in the laggy matches either, the matches where the hit detection was instant for me and input lag was minimal had a few people warping in them.
So I'm guessing IW actually did lessen the amount of lag compensation going on and it's had an effect on MW3's attempts at interpolating/extrapolating the positions of each player during a match..... but my understanding of netcode and how it works is pretty rudimentary, so I can't be sure.

The straw just broke the camels back for me tonight. I'm finished. My controller can't take this game anymore.
If you have a 1 red bar on the scoreboard next to your name, expect the worse.

I always get 4 bar connections 99% of the time. I have a problem though when I'm in a gunfight with 2 bar people are less. My gun dances around them. I had a guy standing still doing nothing. Unload 3 bursts of my Type 95 and does nothing to this guy. In an instant a flood of bullets came out of his gun and killed me on the spot. Look at the killcam and I only got one burst off and the guy was firing the whole time while I thought he was just standing still. Look at his connection and it was 2 bars.
Also, like another poster said, people are teleporting around the maps now for me too. I had a guy that looking like he was sliding while he was shooting. Skipping across the map.

I've had 5 so far. I wasn't trying for any of them and was suprised when i got each one :lol:
Lol, the FMG9 akimbo feels the same. Wasn't there supposed to be some sort of nerf or something?
If you enter a small room without these weapons, you will lose the gunfight 99% of the time because the other guy is gonna be using them. It's that simple. This game sure as hell singled out the top tier weapons really fast. About a month into the life cycle, people already had shit figured out.
At least david vonderhaar knows not to have akimbos in his game except for a few underpowered handguns and a shitty shotgun. I didn't even like black ops that much, but at least I can respect that.

Haven't played this game in months, came back for the Elite content yesterday. Played a Kill Confirmed on Liberation. Meh. I thought I would really enjoy this map (IT'S CENTRAL PARK!!) but it's just way too big. I spent most of the match running around trying to find someone, ANYONE, to shoot. This is the type of map that needs Ground War I think.
I turned the game off after that. Still need to try out Piazza though, that map looks fun.

He's not the only one with it: I can confirm 3/4 bar lag and stuttering. I dunno what the hell they did but it sucks. Even co-op online is stuttering, so there is no heaven from it.
It's fun if you enjoy getting shot in the back constantly.

I've never spawned there in 5 or so matches I've played on it.

I think there maybe a way to get rid of some of the lag, but I can't be sure if it's just a coincidence or not. For everybody who is getting lag and has Elite installed, uninstall Elite..... That's it. I did it this afternoon and the quality of matches I'm getting is higher than my whole time previously with MW3. Though it could be coincidence since I hear the dev team did live server tweaks today, but even earlier today my matches were shitty until I uninstalled Elite, so I dunno. If you guys uninstall Elite, post whether or not it makes a difference if you don't mind.
what's crazy is how could a guy went 49-0 on your team while there's a guy going 67-1 on the opposite team? mind blown!

Hahaha, that'll be so funny if it's true. I think Elite is such a waste, although I fell for it. No way renewing it, unless it's free. I've had plenty of 4 bar games that played like 2 bar game that made me wonder. With my 30mb+ connection, I know it's not my connection.
I don't understand this game. I have 27 down / 6 up and I consistently get worse games than my buddies who have like 5 down / 1 up. Why do the people with better connections get worse lag?

Just completed the "get 1000 kills with a predator missile" prestige challenge.
Attack helicopter should be my next 1000 kills. Currently at 650 or so.
Back during my 1st 10th prestige run, I tried out the Type-95 and didn't like it. Stayed away from it. Now I'm in my 2nd 10th run and decided to give the gun another chance. Wow, lol. Feels great (and cheap lol) to kill people instantly but it's still a weapon I wouldn't normally use. I rarely receive any hate messages but the moment I used the Type-95...surprise!
mk14 is a gun I need to play with more often. Having fun with the MG36 right now though.

Did they tone down the fire rate of the akimbo FMGs recently? they seem to be firing a lot slower now on PS3.
I know they definitely did for 360, I guess they did for PS3 if you already noticed.

Oh ok. Yeah they must have. it fires way slower than it did before.
BTW, the Akimbos weren't fixed in the latest update. Watched a YouTube vid of a guy testing them out and they actually fire FASTER now instead of slower. He did say the shotguns have been buffed a bit and in the process made the SPAS-12 useless since the other shotty's just out perform it on every level.
I played last night and I don't know if I was just tired or what, but ever since the update and the new maps coming out, I've been shitty. Only rocking a 1.15 k/d for the week. I'm normally around 1.5. There's just so many little things that bug me about this game which make me wanna throw my controller through my TV sometimes, yet I keep coming back. I'm also insanely jealous of you all who can just get this long ass kill streaks like it's no big deal. I can barely get 5 kills in a row on a steady basis. I just don't understand how you can stay alive for that long in a game like this. There's just too much chance on where enemies will spawn, or you get caught switching weapons, random grenades, predator missles, etc. I usually run with assassin pro just because of all the damn UAV's that go up every map, so any time I use a class that doesn't have it, I get worked. Which sucks cause I'd like to use quick draw more often or hardline. Another thing is that the "PRO" versions of the perks are WAAAAY too easily attainable this year. You can be way too good at such a low level now, it's stupid.
I think they need to make the UAV's a 4 or 5 kill streak in the next game, which would make people use assassin less often. Also, the fact that assassin blocks the advanced UAV is a joke. That's the whole point of that damn thing, like it was in Black Ops. As for what would replace a 3 kill streak, I have no idea. It should be more of a personal buff that only benefits you and can not be used as an offensive weapon.

Honestly, after putting 5-7 hours into the new maps I have to say I really like them overall. They offer completely different play styles which makes playing them so often a lot of fun. I expect this to mean I am going to hate the map that drops in February lol.

I played with the fmg9 akimbos yesterday and they still feel the same to me. They still dominate all small rooms/alleyways and of course remain the best secondaries in the game. They supposedly nerfed the firing rate by about half, lol. The fact of the matter is that akimbo should not be an attachment in this game on anything except handguns, but that's mostly because that weapon class sucks in general.
Most of the maps are just too focused on close range combat in mw3. That's why this nonsense dominates. Akimbo rafficas were OP in mw2 also, but the maps were bigger in general and people were more worried about noobtubes anyway.
Speaking of mw2, lol rock glitch all over again in mw3!

I don't get it. My game was terrible when playing Ground War lists against everyone, always sub 1 K/D ratio. Now that I swapped to Elite playlists where everyone but me is on their seventh prestige, I almost always get to an 1 k/d and have even have got 2-3 occasionally.
