It's because the players are better, so your team is better. Even if the other team is really good too, your own team helps you out in more ways than you think. I've noticed that more and more in TDM when I play by myself instead of with 2 of my friends. When I'm on a totally shitty team, it seems I can't do anything because the other team constantly has stuff in the air or are just pushing the spawns back. I'll even try to camp in a spot and just say "fuck it" after a while, but I'll still get killed almost right away.

I think I have lost hope that Infinitely Ward will ever give a real nerf to akimbo FMGs. Even after their supposed newest nerf they still are ridiculously powerful. Probably because all the quickscopers and CoD youtubers would whine if they didn't make sure they were better than primaries.

Overwatch seems to be either one or two shots depending on positioning; I can usually take them down in 1, but sometimes it takes 2.
Escort Osprey is always 3; IIRC it was 4 when the game first came out but I think it got nerfed to 3 in the one of the first patches.
Osprey Gunner I'm not sure; honestly I can probably count on one hand the number of those I've seen. I'd assume it's also 3 but don't know 100%.

I just used this for the first time sans extended mags, dead silence (marksman), and portable rader and I got my first MOAB on Underground! I have been tearing it up the rest of the night with this class. Thanks!

Proximity. If you're point blank the stinger won't divert enough to miss because it flies low. Flares happen at range.
Oh man, you guys hear about the XM25 glitch on the Wii? It completely ruins any MP game. Anyone can do it and it's like the easiest thing to do in the world. I don't know how they are about patching Wii titles, but it makes the game completely unplayable.

I didn't actually know the Wii version had online play (I'm serious).
I guess you fire all 25 XM25 grenades into the air and it lags the match and makes bullets teleport around or something :lol

So in the past few days I improved my k/d in like .10 while using a silenced MK14.

It is pretty sad that they are probably just ignoring this issue too, since it is on Wii. If a glitch like this ever made it to 360, just wow. The care package one was bad enough, but this is at another level.
I too had no idea the Wii version even had online multiplayer.
The Wii version has definitely had glitches fixed, I've visited the Wii version thread for myself in the past to confirm that.

Sorry I'm a bit late with these, but here are my first matches ever played on the new maps. I uploaded them the day the maps came out, but couldn't monetize them until now. I had to strip the game audio entirely out of the Liberation gameplay because I kept getting tagged with some ridiculous third-party music copyright nonsense. I challenged it and won.

I've been playing COD4 lately and it does the same thing. So if its been going on for 5 years it will probably never get fixed.
So yeah, grenades are terrible. Decided to mess around with them to get 20 cooked emblem and I really just hate everything about them now (fought through to get 50 kills with them, not even trying to get paybacks with them...guess martyrdom would give me a chance at it if I want to try later). Do they have a bigger blast area than semtex? Can you throw it farther?
And has there been any word on when the maps are out for ps3? End of February?

I thought Black ops fixed that, treyarch in other words. I didnt encounter it in that game anyway.
Grenades have a bigger blast radius and you can bounce 'm off walls. great for campers in a building above you or to trow in a corner via a wall.
Use some patience..or try a different game mode for a change. The point of matchmaking is to get you into a game with the best connection it can find. Apparently the game thought the lobby wasn't laggy, so it will choose it if there's open slots, which there are because you just left.
It is what it is, but it's usually a problem only when someone is raging and joining another game immediately, which I don't do, so I'm not going to worry about it. If I were IW I wouldn't put that high on the list of bug fixes
Other way around, it only had 1 flare when the game came out. Then they realized that it makes absolutely no sense that a 12 killstreak has 2 flares (AC), but a 17 streak only has 1, so they upped it to 2. Not to mention that an Osprey is 10 times easier to find and shoot at than an AC, so hell, it should have 4 flares if the AC has 2.
Flares have worked like that since MW2, though. You could take out chopper gunners and PaveLows in one if they were right above you. MW3 has had that since day 1 too.

Got my 2500 MG36 kills. Feels good. Rocking that title at the moment. Decided to work on the PM-9 now. PM-9 w/specialist package is fun (to me, that is).
Blind Eye pro may be my favorite blue perk. Nothing is staying in the air as long as I'm around, lol.
Close to being 10th prestige..again, lol. When that happens, I'll be working on getting that hidden "hijack 200 crates" emblem, which I'm slightly excited for.

Question about the Elite app. When looking at recent matches using the app there is number right next to your kills and deaths. Anyone know what that number stands for? Sometimes it's green and positive other times it's red and a negative.
Drop or increase in KD from the previous game.

Both of the earpieces on my Turtle Beach set broke off....I know there are a lot of variety but at least my pair just felt cheap overall in retrospect.Mine seem to be on their last legs too.
Might use my tax return to buy a cordless pair.
I wound up buying the wireless Sony set and have really liked them. They take a little getting used to just because you don't hear your own voice too much when you speak, but they are really comfortable and well built.

That's actually a pretty good way to use the airdrop trap. You were guarding it as if it was real. Most of the time, people just drop those traps way behind enemy lines. It's pretty obvious when an enemy care package drops next to a bunch of the opposition that it's a fake.
