The recent trend of only discounting console versions of a game is pretty awful for PC gamers
Pokemon Sun currently $49.96 on walmart without that "price hidden" option. Could give us a chance to let Amazon know this might be official price.
It sucks, but you can almost certainly buy a cdkey somewhere for even less than the discount would be.
Do I just contact customer service via chat or phone to let them know or is there some other method to let them know about price drops.
yeah but not win 10 play anywhere title like forza, dead rising etc.
Only thing you can do is go onto the Pokemon Sun page on amazon and look for the "found price lower somewhere else" and just link walmart
Does the final price on the order have a discount applied? If so, that's what they're charging youMaybe I'm missing something but I just checked out with my order and I got the 20% off but each game say its 79.99. Will it apply the 20% as soon as the game ships?

I would make one order for the $30 off games, and one order for the 20% off games. If it automatically splits any order due to it being too big don't worry about it, but don't make multiple orders for the 20% off games yourself, as only one per account is allowed. So is it best to order all your games on Amazon together or separate?
I don't see much point in buying physical PC games nowadays since it's just a box and a disc with zero resell value. I only make an exception if it's heavily discounted (cheaper than digital) or it actually has physical items (Witcher 3).

So disappointed in Amazon, they're missing a bunch of confirmed games. They don't even have Gravity Rush 2 ffs.
Do like I did and contact chat support, and link them to the Amazon.com gravity rush 2 page, they forward them to marketing and if enough people ask for it they put up the page.
People keep saying one one order is allowed but I just don't believe it. You'd have to have closely read the terms and conditions AND interpreted the vague language in a specific way to know this, and in the meantime placing multiple orders gets you the discount anyways. Plus, this is exactly how it worked last year. And think of all the people who have been pre-ordering games as they've been announced, as opposed to waiting until the very last day to place one big order. If Amazon were to retroactively remove the discounts on all the orders being placed beyond the first one, it would practically be a scorched earth policy for zero apparent gain (since you could've just grouped ALL those games into one order and had no problem anyways).

The system allowing you to place multiple orders right now doesn't mean anything right now. Amazon has retroactively cancelled some of my orders after the fact before once they detected something was off (I made 2 order for psvr, one for myself and my address, and one for my brother and his address, they cancelled one a couple of weeks later because of a limit of 1 per customer), so if Customer service tells me to make one order (which I will), I'll make one order. Not gonna risk losing discount on games in this current landscape.
I was gonna say, why are people saying this? They deleted the rule that said only one order shipping to one place
you only get charged when the game gets shipped right? and we can cancel at any point before then?
Slightly off topic but I ordered DOOM on PS4 for $49.99 from Amazon and it's out of stock. Is that price guaranteed since the order was made during the sale?
I've spoken to 3 CSR's regarding the rule. All of them have said that I need to have everything in one single order. its so annoying that its getting to the point where I might just not make a pre-order for any games on sale.
no matter what I do my order gets split in half. that ain't my problem. I'll escalate if they cancel it

1 of each game per customer I can understand, but one order? There's no logic.
When does the Amazon sale end? I figure I may as well at least buy Battlefield 1.
I would have added Gravity Rush 2 to the mix but it's not up yet.
Did Nintendo not announce much or did Amazon just didn't care?
Pre-ordered:
-Pokemon Sun & Moon (I'll cancel one once we learn about any of the exclusive mons, currently leaning more towards Sun...though given how likely it is Game Freak will only allow one save file per game I might hold onto both should I like the exclusive mons for both)
-Dragon Quest VII
-The Last Guardian
-Dishonored 2
-Prey-Persona 5 (Take Your Heart Edition)2
-Resident Evil 7
-Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
-#FE (I have no real interest in playing this but for collection's sake I would rather get it now than pay $100+ for when it inevitably bombs)
-Watch_Dogs 2
-Final Fantasy XV
-God of War 4
-Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse
I would have added Gravity Rush 2 to the mix but it's not up yet.
Dragon Quest VII at Amazon? Whereeee?
VIII, not VII, mixed up roman numerals. Sorry to get your hopes up.
I'm sure I'm not the only one but I linked Amazon CS to Gravity Rush 2 Bestbuy.ca link. Seems they finally green lit it. I also sent them a list of Yakuza 6 and 0, Ni-oh, Crash Remaster, and Vampyr.
I told them Pokemon Sun and Moon are $49.99 on walmart.ca. A friend pre-ordered his pokemon games in store at EB Games. They've adjusted their prices to $49.99 too. Amazon is dragging it's heels here.
