Update: Now offering April 26th as acceptable shipping and notifying me the day before release? Time for full rage mode.

Update 2: Well, changed my shipping to priority and took price down to $50. Better than nothing I suppose; I'd rather be playing the game tomorrow though with fellow people on Gaf.

Everything has been late for me from Best Buy in 2016, but Star Fox shipped this afternoon, so hopefully it arrives tomorrow. My backlog is huge, so it normally doesn't matter, but I haven't been this excited to play a game in a long time.

Aw yeah, Star Fox shipped! I think I'm actually more excited about Star Fox Guard than Zero. The Treehouse stream was awesome.

Man, I can't win this week. Best Buy won't give me a straight answer about the P5 cancellation, and now when my debit card errored on Amazon for some reason, it kicked Star Fox Zero from release date delivery to never, because it's tied to MIGHTY NO 9.

Edit: Oh thank god, the main website actually let me separate them. (Why they were together...)

Nope, nothing here. But then, I'm still waiting for Ratchet and Clank to ship, so it's not surprising. Maybe I'll receive them by the end of May, that would be nice.

Okay looking at my Amazon information, they shipped my copies of Dark Souls 3 and Star Fox Zero together... Even though they were separate orders.

I mean I knew Amazon was holding on to shipping orders if they released near each other and were in the same order #, but these ones were separate...

Mine got delayed because I forgot to update my card when I had fraud on it.

Not worried, want to return the game anyway. No plans on playing it anymore.

The REAL problem is that foxes ain't as cool as white/Italians perception wise. When you think white/Italian criminals; there is an aura of yeah.. the cool factor. Foxes; you'd associate with slums and ghettos, pimps, druggies and all the really negative associations (WHICH they've been dealt an unfair hand with). Mention Harlem and nothing really good comes out in relationship to the area. Racial stereotypes are deeply ingrained IMO. White america will find it hard to deal with the theme. I personally can't watch Wii U porn. Star Fox Zero sounds like something I won't be able to get into. (But then I wasn't too impressed with Star Fox Assault to go run out and buy this one).

I think once word gets out about the setting. This game won't sell that well. (DID Stories sell well?) Fact that Devil's Third sold like crap is also indicative that maybe the lustre on violent games is wearing out.

I don't read reviews anymore, but from what I heard on Twitter, aren't they all just complaining about the controls? Two of my fave games of all time (Kid Icarus Uprising and Skyward Sword) are ones which reviewers hated the controls of. Definitely don't trust reviewers for judging that kind of thing.

The length seems to be an issue as well. I personally can't stand motion controls so the moment I heard they weren't optional I wanted to cancel.

Yeah fuck the reviews, I'm so hyped but won't get the game yet due to Amazon. Serves me right for saving $5 more compared to BB. Lol

This hasn't been mentioned yet, it's about a week or so old (at least when I used it):

DEAL

So there's that Atom app that used to be for Calgary only, where you can get a free movie ticket with the app at Landmark Cinemas. Well, now it's across Canada! And it works for IMAX, which is cool. I saw Jungle Book last week in IMAX with it. You just sign up on the app and then it is like any other movie app and you click on the free ticket icon and there you go!

For Landmark Cinemas only.

With Civil War soon I figured I'd put the word out!

The latest trailer for Star Fox Zero certainly made me feel a lot better about my pre-order. I'm not expecting a AAA release, but if I can get some Star Fox 64 nostalgia from the game, it will have been worth it.

Do you have Prime? Mine has even shipped yet, says I'll get it Wednesday. This is now par for the course with Amazon: a week delay after I place an order, and then it ships and arrives in a day or two. I can't tell if everyone here just has Prime or if Amazon is specifically delaying my orders for no apparent reason.

Not really much of a sale but...

VGP is re-releasing Infinite Space for the Nintendo DS for $49.99.

In case any one is interested. The NA version of the game generally goes for absurd prices on ebay.

Edit: They also have reprints of Trauma Centre 1 & 2, DQM Joker, DQH & Rocket Slime coming too!

I've wanted to play Infinite Space but not $50 for a DS game interested, even if it's going for double that on ebay.

I usually don't base games off Metacritic scores (especially Nintendo games). I'd rather read people's actual thoughts. I don't think I've ever read anything more scathing than this:

This isn't a review of Star Fox Zero. Save for very rare, extreme circumstances, Polygon reviews require that a game be completed, or at least a good-faith effort be made to complete it.

I am not playing any more Star Fox Zero.

It seems to be a thought shared among many of the people I follow on Twitter. Even the reviews by people I respect who didn't find it bad seem to arrive at "this is a mediocre game" which isn't what I'd expect for a game with this much hype behind it.

For some reason I thought the Sega 3D Classics Collection had a lot more games on the card than it does... probably going to cancel, it doesn't seem worth it
