Hmm, most of the leafs' conference final losses if they had won would have led to three original 6 scfs, which are no longer possible anymore since it's just Chicago vs everybody.

This is probably how many NDP supporters feel. My mom and dad voted NDP since they came to Canada but it's never counted for anything. They were defeated too and were thinking of voting Liberal today but I told them that our riding is NDP. My point is, we need PR.

I think NDP support would shoot up across the country. People who want NDP can vote without their vote being wasted and NDP can represent the views of each of their voters.

I don't know if there has been a push for electoral reform in the past but I feel like we are closer than ever. Once we get over that hump, dreams will come true.

I've mostly followed the campaign by listening to podcasts like the Everything is Politcial, The House and Power and Politics, and I'll agree that I've liked Jack Harris when he has guested on one/some of those podcasts.

I hope that if the liberals get a majority, they still continue down the path to proportional representation.

when NDP starts overstepping on Liberal things and being dicks that is when soft Liberal supporters go back to the LPC

That makes me so happy. I had honestly feared we were drifting into becoming a more battshit conservative country and that Sun News was the engine that was going to push us there. Turns out I had nothing to fear. I'm proud.

You were dealing with dicks. I wasn't on the list and gave a guy my driver's license. He took a few minutes to fill out some crap and I was allowed to vote. It should have been the same for you. No one carries around a god damn birth certificate.

What made me turn away from the NDP was how wishy-washy Muclair seemed. Especially at the part where he'd change his words in French and in English. Pandering to everyone is going to get you no one.

I had three encounters with jerk motorists while riding my bike 6 blocks back from my local polling station. One was in the parking lot of polling station!

I ride my bike to work frequently and never get into this much trouble, let alone during a 3 minute bike ride.

I think it will be impossible for them to lose at this point unless they do really terrible somewhere which prevents them from winning.I think the ndp will do fine or good everywere else I hope.
