Resident Evil 9 considered old game?Truth hurts
Why would you buy those if you could get the superior and cheaper version on PS5?Cool, I already played RE7 on PS5, but I'll pick up Requiem and Village, both look like fun.
Nice to see Capcom supporting the platform.
For the same reason why someone would buy the PS5 version instead of the superior version on PC probably. Because they want to?Why would you buy those if you could get the superior and cheaper version on PS5?
Convenience of being able to take them with me when I travel for work, also I find technically ambitious ports fascinating. Why would you buy those if you could get the superior and cheaper version on PS5?
Now that's a valid answer instead of that plum's answer above.Convenience of being able to take them with me when I travel for work, also I find technically ambitious ports fascinating.
that plum
Now that's a valid answer instead of that plum's answer above.
So two plums.Nah, I'm pretty sure "because I want to" is a perfectly valid answer when you're an adult human being and a stranger on the internet tries to second guess your purchasing decisions.
I would rather having 7 and 8 releasing one month or two before, than on the same of the day of the new entry in the series.
Resident Evils are their own hype machines. It does feel like a missed opportunity to not have released RE7 as a shadow drop immediately after the direct, and then maybe somewhere between Black Friday and Christmas for Village. That would have been a good way to build hype/momentum for the new release.
Because I wouldn't play it on a PS5, but I will on my Switch 2. You don't need any more of an answer than that. Why would you buy those if you could get the superior and cheaper version on PS5?

Are you drunk? It's incredibly bad marketing.
The two old generic multi-plat x86 titles effectively cancel out any perceived benefit to be had from the one new generic multi-plat x86 title.
It's just incredibly basic sales stuff. Are you drunk?
Because that is some drunk logic right there
It feels a lot like they don't care about Switch users.Complete missed opportunity to drop feed RE games until RE9 releases and keep that momentum and excitement going. Dropping all 3 the same day is absolutely ridiculous.
If you're saying it's based on data, then that's incredibly sad to hear. I guess people are really not that rational. It's just incredibly basic sales stuff.

PS5 Pro version was captured in Ray Tracing mode.
All this will be pretty new content for a lot of Switch 2 owners.. The cloud version games would have put many gamers off.Crapcom continues just pushing old content and the old content console continues to push old content
I am sure we will get these as well. I am guessing we are getting 7 and village, because cloud versions already exist on the Nintendo e-Shop.I'd rather have RE2, RE3 and RE4.
For all the shit GC got back in the day missing a good chunk of third party games, they sure did well with those RE games.Good ol GameCube days
2 million units of DMC5 in one quarter is insane. Was in some kind of massive sale?
Oh, I didn't know. Now curious about the sales of TLoU part I after the show. Although I suspect HBO is not that popular as a platform.I think the anime series contributed a lot.
The numbers are for the last 6 months.2 million units of DMC5 in one quarter is insane. Was in some kind of massive sale?
Yes.2 million units of DMC5 in one quarter is insane. Was in some kind of massive sale?
Yes.
The deal was : you can play a good game on a nintendo console that is not mario or zelda related.
Bruh Devil may cry anime doing work wtf 2 mil in one quarter.
DMC 5 is not on a Nintendo platform (yet).
