i dont hate the drivers! its just i dont like the attitude some of those people who drive expensive European cars ... , i've also not had good experiences with subaru drivers either.
toyota drivers are the best!
I thought I was going to make it through this thread unscathed. I don't do illegal shenanigans in my Subaru. I swear!
There were 2 or 3 posts about Subaru's specifically, before Aguirre posted.

It used to be a lot worse before SafeClear. I remember seeing accidents on the freeway where there were just two cars, but over a dozen tow trucks lined up, taking up a lane of traffic, maybe two, just to get a shot at towing the cars away. This would happen multiple times a day on Houston freeways.

I can't stand ALL drivers in Australia. Or at least in Melbourne. People can't drive for shit down here. Everywhere I go, there is constantly some slow-ass in my way. People here never stick to the "Keep left unless overtaking" signs. Our traffic lights change pretty quick here, and everyone takes off so damn slow when it's green.
The only drivers I like are young Aussie hoons in their ugly Holdens only because even though they drive like idiots and think they own the roads, they at least stay out of my way.
I just came back from the a holiday in the US a few weeks ago. Good god I miss driving there!

Not a "driver" or a "car," but bicyclists who get so aggro about the "share the road" thing that they actively get in your way, despite the fact that them hitting you is pretty much irrelevant but if you hit them they will be squashed and dead.

Jeeze, ya'll need to relax. The only time I've ever been pissed off enough to use my horn was when a car full of old people was going 5mph on a twisty road with no room to pass them. I didn't feel like getting rear ended so I just laid on it. That said I haven't really had enough problems to associate "X" bad driving with "Y" car or whatever.
Except MA drivers, they suck.

In all seriousness, this is a bit weird. Part of driving is constantly checking all your mirrors. I'd say I look in the rearview every 4-6 seconds, and it's not even something that I think about, it's just automatic at this point. I drive on the I-5 down to Seattle fairly often and it's pretty easy to see someone catching up to you.
I drive on the busiest highway in North America, and most times of day the "passing lane" doesn't exist. It's just the fast lane. I tend to drive in it because it's the only lane not packed to the gills with 18-wheelers. I move into another lane, otherwise.
But what drives me nuts is that these tailgaters think their bullying is still justified in heavy traffic. I'll be in the fast lane, with my speed matching the flow of traffic, with just enough safe stopping space between me and the car ahead of me. Some douchenozzle in a BMW will start tailgating me, expecting me to move over so he can get into my spot, then hoping to do the same thing to the next few dozen cars tightly-packed in front of him.
So annoying.

No mention of Lexus drivers yet? Easily the most dangerous cars on the road in California, mainly because of who drives them. You never quite know what kind of stupid thing a Lexus driver will pull. Will they weave recklessly through traffic that's not in any way bypassable? Will they change lanes without any notice? Will they try to U-turn out of the oncoming left turn lane without checking for oncoming traffic? Will they turn right out of the left-hand lane? Will they speed past you on the right and then move to the far left and suddenly decide to drive under the limit? Will they decide it's a good idea to forcibly turn left out of a driveway on the busiest six-lane road in Los Angeles at 5PM?
You just never know, and that's why you need to give them as much room as possible so they can do stupid things without involving you.
This is exponentially more dangerous behavior than fast driving. What model Lexus do you drive?

normally I have no problem with them. But around the time the tour down under arrives in my city, the roads are suddenly clogged with cyclists. Riding in huge groups, consuming half of your lane as you're trying to get to work on time. The real kicker is most of them aren't locals who get caught up in the tour fever. The vast majority of them are teams from interstate. Apparently they just rock into the city every year and make a huge fucking nuisance of themselves during rush hour.

In defence of us Audi drivers, I would just like to point out the number of people in hatchbacks like Golfs or Focus's that cut us up or try to become alpha males at traffic lights as they obviously have a image problem.
They also overtake at stupid moments, though it was funny just a month ago when one overtook me while I was slowing down for speed bumps on a country road (night time). They must have hit it at 70mph+. One more focus with fucked suspension (the spark show was beautiful BTW).

BMW drivers. Act like they rule the road. I remember I was crossing at a pelican once and this lorry stopped for the red light. Then as I was crossing this BMW comes straight through the red light and almost hits me the piece of shit. Also they don't know how to drive on motorways, always hogging the outside lane.

- Young and middle-age women drivers with tunnel vision. Usually drive Hondas, Toyotas, Ford Fusions, etc. Many of them wear aviator sunglasses. Many of them are attractive, but many of them also have that "high maintenance" look to them. They drive with two hands gripped tightly on the wheel, like they're scared or something. They often drive in the left lane 10 MPH below the speed limit and refuse to get over. Chances are they don't even realize someone's behind them. They're often on their iPhones.
- Old (senior-citizen) drivers in general, doesn't matter the car.
- Lifted trucks, unless it's clear that it's being used for something practical.
- Large trucks and SUVs with bright HID headlights, which tailgate me at night.
- Ricers. I haven't seen too many of these lately, though...
- Certain drivers who drive Buicks, Cadillac sedans, Lincolns and Impalas. Particularly those drivers who slouch way back in the seat. Newsflash - you don't look cool, ya'll.
