Haha, that's great. I definitely plan to come down to the Expo this weekend so I'll swing by! Will you be there? Who should we say hi to specifically?
I'm not originally from Texas and know very little about Austin, where do I go for the games expo?

Hey! I think I saw your game at some event at Empire Control Room a few months back. It was really cool. I'll definitely come by.
I'll be at 235 on Sunday showing a game, if anyone's interested.

Where'd you get the phone charger? It's crazy how free beer and soft drinks are being handed out lol
I bet that's going to be insane. I would love to go but it's been a long day and I have work tomorrow.Anyone going to the Microsoft store tonight at the Domain? Apparently Vince Zampella will he there.
http://news.xbox.com/2014/02/games-titanfall-sxsw-and-twitch-celebrationNot sure about office stuff, Zoe.
Larry Hyrb was there yesterday along with some local devs. Apparently they went to pinballz afterwards. Heard the plan was for party to continue at store today along with Vince. I tried calling but their phones are off the chain. I would go for the Lolz and autograph but wouldn't buying anything being that I am going all digital.
Located at the Microsoft Studio at 323 Congress Ave., the celebration will kick off at 9pm and will feature exclusive opportunities to meet the developers behind "Titanfall," cool giveaways, and of course, lots of "Titanfall" gameplay. A special performance by Childish Gambino, one of the most exciting young talents in music, mixing a unique blend of hip-hop genres, will cap the evening.
Wish I had a PC that would run it. Been watching footage off and on throughout the day.Not sure about office stuff, Zoe.

I'm trying to make sure we get the word out so we get a good turnout for tomorrow night's FREE premiere screening of Good Game (http://www.goodgamemovie.com), a solid new doc on professional competitive gaming, following the Evil Geniuses.
Details: Facebook page
Event starts at 7pm with free BBQ, free quality beer from NXNW, and other free libations. We'll have Broforce and Luftrausers and maybe Hotline Miami 2 on the big screen for people to play before we show the movie around 8:30.
No RSVP, no badges, we just want as many gamers there as possible. Looks like the weather will be awesome for this, and this new "Sekret Theater" is something to behold. Coolest outdoor screening setup I've ever seen.
Getting there: We will shuttle people from the Scoot Inn from 6-8pm, OR they can get dropped of OR park on Perry Road just south (where it T's into) Jain Lane. It's on the east side just off of Bolm Rd. There will be easy-to-see signs and escorts to point out the place from there.
I've put a ridiculous amount of time into the brototype.I saw that Broforce game at the expo. It's pretty amazing -- I can imagine that'll be a massive hit when it's out.
Austin's a great town, yeah. It's different during SXSW, but you can still get the good vibes, the inclusiveness and no one really giving a damn about what style anyone is rocking.
What is a more exciting Alamo Drafthouse, Lakeline or Slaughter Lane? Or are they relatively the same?
Wanna take a road trip again next month for Captain 'Murica.
Those tables suck when your seats don't line up well with the couples in your group.Pretty much the same. I prefer Slaughter because it has tables instead of a long table, making it easier to get in and out, and I think it has better stadium-style seating. Parking sucks at Slaughter.
Dunno about all the food, but the tickets cost more there.I'm a fan of Movie and Eatery on 620 over Alamo, personally. Cheaper prices, better seats, loungy bar in lobby. Yeah it's a trek up North but I highly recommend it.

It's super convenient for us--just across the street :lolWow, you're right; I was thinking $10 but that was for a non-dine in theatre. The gas alone to get there if you don't live North wouldn't even warrant the price differences. I, personally, still prefer the setting enough to drive past Lakeline Alamo for another 7 or so minutes.

Personally, I like Lakeline better. But that might be the new-ness of it talking. The tables are better, too. And I feel like the service is, as well.
Agreed on both points: food is fair to partly crappy (I'm biased because the decline happened almost immediately after my friend, who was the head chef there and came up with the Hobbit feast, got booted), and that accident was fucking terrible. There's approximately 0% chance I'll ever go to Lakeline without a major life change, but one thing I'd imagine is the case is that the food must be better at a minimum. I've been very disappointed at least 75% of the time at the food at Slaughter over the past year.
Woke up to see all the tweets about the SX accident. Horrible.
That's what's worrying me. However, my aunt lives off Barton Springs Rd, so if I can let my car squat in her driveway..............Couple of my friends went to the Japan party last night, but I was at a friend's birthday dinner
There aren't any particularly big artists this year, so it should be possible to get in... But the year The Pillows were here it was impossible.
I would be tempted to go if I knew the Lakeline station wouldn't be completely insane. There wasn't a single open spot of asphalt or even grass when I tried to park there yesterday.
