Some of those are probably small roles. The bigger the movie, the more roles are given publicity, and the more those smaller roles go to character actors you recognize.

I've been disappointed by every hyped up sci fi blockbuster by a name director in the last two years. The last time I was excited by what I saw was probably Moon and District 9. So fingers crossed.

I don't like star-filled casts. It's hard to explain why but it just takes me out of the movie, I see it more as a spectacle, something to make a shitload of money rather than an actual film. So many stars can't seem to act good enough that you see a real character and not just their name. But I'm still hyped since it's Nolan and sci fi.

I would; pleasantly surprised, in fact. The Prestige is brilliant and keeps getting better with age.
