I dunno, I think The Horse and His Boy could make a good movie about a boy wanting to leave and runaway from his current life. Then a talking horse comes along and sweeps him off for the adventure of a lifetime. There would be comedy, action, and adventure!

I haven't read the book, but just look at the title!

The Horse and His Boy.

That just sounds boring! It sounds like The Horse Whiperer 2: The Whisperening. I actually would've typed this reply faster, but I actually fell asleep why looking at that title.

Kinda makes you wonder why GAF is even looking forward to it. At least it doesn't have scientology undertones?

Oh, yes. Because a fantasy story has all these Christian undertones I'm going to accept the Bible as fact and preach the good word on the streets!

I'm looking forward to the movie. Good poster. But from an artistic sense, isn't it a bit unbalanced? The right side has more fillings than the left.

It's a great adventure story. Boy gets mistaken for a lost prince, travels through a cemetary, gets lost in an enormous Babylon-like city, makes friends with two talking horses and a badass tomboy female, and has to try and save Narnia from a power hungry ruler.

Actually it's one of the better books. Far better than Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which for some reason always puts me to sleep.

Yes, all the while taking place in a constant desert-like setting with little variety completely devoid of any type of whimsical or magical feel previous Narnia settings had, follows two characters with extremely poor development that have little to do with the main story and are thus forgotten until a brief cameo in book 7, and deals with a cliche'd Arab-like populace which surprisingly enough has a ruler that plans to take over Narnia.

It's dull and boring.

EDIT: btw, I always thought this was the best cover art for Book 7:

Says a lot about the story.
