Finally saw Vs The Anniversary. Very good episode, and easily better than last season's Vs The Pink Slip. Although I'm a bit worried about how cartoony the Buy More has become. And Why was Olivia Munn even on it? She got very little screen time.

I could agree with Lloyd and Munn, but Kreuk? I think she had a pretty decent role for a guess star.

I don't think she did anything significant, other than hang out at the buymore for one episode and then be saved/shagged by Chuck.

If by acting you mean having a blank expression on your face the entire time while saying your lines poorly and being boring, then yes. She can act.

Obviously I am not a fan of hers.

It's not her fault she's been type cast as an emotionless robot. But even in that Terminator series she was really good at going from emotionless to a convincing fake emotion (when she's begging John not to kill her). And the episode where she doesn't play a robot. Or rather, she plays a robot on one side of a table and a normal, scared human on the other. I haven't seen Dollhouse, but it sounds like she was good in that.

She's a good actress. It's just that she's been underutilized.

I have seen most of Terminator:Sarah Connor Chronicles. I have seen most of Firefly and Serenity. I have seen all of 4400. I have seen the bad sci-fi originals she did. She is still mediocre and overrated.

I never said that Anna Torv was an exceptional actress either. She may be on one of my favorite shows, and I think she does a good job, but she is not what I would call a great actress.

She is better looking and a better actress than Summer Glau though. And her series has lasted longer. :D Snap!

Did anyone else notice something off in the sound mix of the first episode? I felt like the dialog was really muted for some reason (or the background turned way up). I noticed it on both Hulu and my DVR's recording.

At first I thought it was something with the Hulu feed as well. glad I wasnt the only one with issues.

Just saw "..vs. the Anniversary." Great stuff, as everyone's already commented on the best parts.

The set for Markov Industries looked familiar, though. Specifically, the room with the computer Chuck was hacking to decrypt that file on his mom. I think I saw that room in an episode of 24, either S4 when they try to force a reactor into meltdown, or S5 when they're planning to pump the nerve gas through the water system.
