Seeing Scott Krinsky in a tuxedo is just weird. He's well-cast, because even at an award show he looks like the creepy guy :p

Pumped for new Chuck tonight. Glad to see NBC has more faith in it than earlier in the season. They're actually advertising it about as much as their other shows now.

Oh thanks, I spat out my coffee.

Chuck Day!

I'm pretty fired up for the next three episodes. Should be good. :D
I always thought that gif was reserved for renewal announcements. Or at least in my mind it was. But who cares! It is Yvonne Night!

Yes! Made my day remember that Chuck was returning. Probably won't see it until tomorrow, but I'm excited that the gang is back for the second half of the season. :)

Thank God it's back. I was just about to start going through withdrawal. During the break I picked up seasons 2 and 3 on Blu-Ray to sate my Chuck urge.

By the way, a friend of mine recently picked up DVDs (not Blu Rays) for the first two seasons, and I thought it looked terrible on my 40" HDTV. Like, 350MB TV Rips streamed over Wi-Fi look much, much better kinds of terrible. Is that normal for Chuck DVDs, or an incompatibility with the PS3, or some bad settings on my end?

Is it bad that I immediately went to look for that as well? To be fair that seems in between. The finger tips appear to be touching, but not the full hand. IDK makes him look as akward as his character! LOL

ZOMG CHUCK YESSS!!!

Chuck Blurays are a fucking embarassment on every front, so Id be less than surprised if the same was true for the DVDs.

The blu-rays aren't much better I'm afraid

Between Agent Rosenbaum and the LeFranc wine, they're hitting the production / writer's room fairly heavily for names.

...and three 4's is like a twelve.

Enjoyed the part where Chuck was bossing Casey around during the first mission. Man-servant, lol.

Did not care for the ending, but I knew something was up when Beckman wanted to speak to Sarah quietly. More drama ahead, I suppose.

They could fill a DVD with just a montage of hot chicks walking in slow motion through the Buy More entrance. No, wait...Blu-ray.

Think I am going to be the odd one out on this episode, but it really did nothing for me. It might just be my cold, empty heart, but I can't bring myself to care about this entire proposal storyline. The characters are already together and I honestly would be fine with just keeping that as the status quo throughout the rest of the series run (whether this season or next). So an entire episode of them trying to do a will they/won't they on Chuck proposing had me fighting myself from fast forwarding on my DVR more then anything. The whole Sarah traitor plot seems sort of stupid as well. I know they will use TV logic, but I don't understand how anyone could possibly expect Volkoff to possibly fall for that. But maybe they will actually account for that and hopefully
not through just some easily faked loyalty test which was implied in the teaser for next week.

On the other hand, I thought Morgan was pretty great as normal. And I liked most of the Lester plot line, although the song itself was pretty meh. I think I am with Solo in that Jeffster really only works with certain types of songs.

The proposal itself was just meh to me, but it was just how into it Morgan got that made me enjoy it. Then Casey and Sarah joining in. But the highlight was Jeffster.

This occurred to me when Casey was helping with the proposal: I know that he and Alex reunited, but what about Alex's mom? I don't remember any scene with both him and her except the one where he sneakily rescued her. Does she even know he's alive?

They have never addressed that. If she hadn't been brought up again in tonight's episode I would assume they would just prefer all of us to forget that she even exists. I would have to think she knows he is alive, or maybe Alex just has a really good explanation for why she was always hanging out with this older creepy guy.

Decent episode - I can see the 'twist' at the end leading somewhere, but it felt a little forced. Maybe if he hadn't aborted so many attempts in the first place it would've sat a little better with me. Still, Levi and Strahovski have great chemistry, Morgan & Casey are fantastic as always, and the Jeffster interlude was entertaining and has the potential for even more payoff if they don't kill that plotline off after this episode. There have certainly been episodes that I've enjoyed more this season, but this one was a solid lead up as we build towards the mid-season finale.

EDIT: I was also expecting some T Dalton tonight, but I guess they're saving him. So that was a little disappointing for me.

Just finished watching - felt bad for Lester, but I knew he'd mess that up. I love the fact that he's from Saskatchewan though. Episode was good :).

So this is the reverse of Shippergate from last season? I am not reading the message boards at other sites. Care to give us a synopsis?

I'm more annoyed with this than anything else... I was just hoping they would get it done and over with this episode. Knew something was coming, but they devoted like the entire episode to it and I was hoping just for once they wouldn't turn it into a will they/won't they. We know the answer already, but it was so predictable for this writing team to do what they did. I would have been more surprised had the proposal gone through with no problems to be seen.

Most of the freak outs seem to be in a bad way. Just people that wanted the proposal to happen, and now they're cursing Fedak and Schwartz.

Does anybody know what jacket Chuck was wearing? I want it haha
I think everyone wants it. They should do clothing tie-ins for the episodes and make some money that way because there have been quite a few requests over the years for stuff that Chuck's been wearing.

You'd think they'd learn by now that nothing happens until episode 13.
