Findings are inconclusive. Need more evidence. ;)

Man, I hate Bentley. So annoying.

So who is the murderer? Any ideas? I bet it's the British guy.

I assumed the killer is Bentley, because she is wanting to find the next intersect before Chuck by giving the computer to his sister.

Why didn't Chuck lock down the 'suspects' as soon as they found the body?
Why is Chuck going along with the need for there to be other intersects?

(Sidenote: I was LTTP for last week's episode, but I was disappointed that the evil PSP was not employed....and that they wrapped up what could have been an interesting arc in a throwaway ep.)

EDIT: Why have they ruled out the possibility of a rogue agent in Castle (Besides the director and the candidates)?

Looked like the IG88 from "VS. the Third Dimension" under that chair.

And I loved how ridiculous Big Mike's Subway endorsement was.

Those ads have been ridiculous all season, like the one for the van last week.

the whole laptop plot is sooooo stupid. it feels really rushed.

anyways my prediction...the laptop is a way for the baby to know about her grandfather

Or they flash the baby with the intersect and he's the newest member of the team lol

This was one of those episodes of Chuck (and sadly, there have been a few) that I loved right up until the final scene. If Ellie gets Intersected, thats a jump the shark moment for me. I'm not gonna dwell too much on it yet, because maybe (read: hopefully) it won't be the case. Otherwise, really enjoyed this one. Loved all the stuff going on in Castle and the interactions between the trio, Bentley, and the recruits.

- I love that Sarah smiles now and has a sense of humor - Yvonne is much more enjoyable when playing upbeat
- the spy try-outs were a lot of fun
- LOL @ at recruit who looked like S1 Chuck being named Brody, since S1 Chuck was basically Seth Cohen 2.0, and Adam Brody who played Seth was Schwartz's first choice for the role of Chuck
- Jourrney, nice!
- loved the continuity with the Roark Industries harddrive in Ellie's computer
- two straight episodes where Chuck uses his brains - nice!

I thought the "Buy More" on the butt of Big Mike's sweatpants was a particularly funny touch.

lol i loved that too, ideally my dream girl would look like sarah and wear those sweats

also, while i enjoyed the episode overall, some of the interesect recruits were not so good actors

Wow, been a while since I had a chance to post in here (been ridiculously busy with work). I thought the episode was really great.

- Morgan bringing up that Chuck's last chance at leadership involved killing their D&D group was hilarious. Especially when Chuck stopped to argue.

- Like Solo, I also really enjoyed the Spy Tryouts, especially Morgan's cultural quizzes.

- The Buy More B-plot was a lot better done this episode than it has in a long while. I was glad to see them bring back Large Mart and Big Mike was great. "I get to wear a big BM on my chest! That's job satisfaction!"

- I did not see the Vivian reveal coming. I knew they would get back to her story, but didn't think it would quite be this soon, nor that she would flat out hate Chuck. I for one am liking it.

- Also interested to see where they go with the Ellie story. I also hope they just intersect her, but I this whole "Agent X" thing gives me hope they have a different idea in mind for the storyline.

I did not know (or just don't remember) that. Very cool as an added in joke.

I bet it's the evil Ray Wise pulling all these strings... I mean, I don't see Vivian ordering the death of a guy like Chuck that quick.

I feel bad for Awesome, too much lying... he's not feeling very awesome right now.

When they were doing the slow tilt up to reveal Brody, I was actually expecting it to be Adam Brody to complete the joke.

Chuck music of the week from Sepinwall as usual.

"I Need You" by The Blood Arm (the recruits are tested in Castle)
"Any Way You Want It" by Journey (Brody's ringtone)
"Victim" by Win Win (Chuck and Sarah do an interrogation)
"Move to the Mountains" by Clock Opera (the final montage)

I think it's pretty much impossible that she was getting intersected in the ending (though it could happen eventually), for one simple reason: she's sleeping. Eyes closed, she can't see the images that imprint the Intersect.

I loved the episode, best one in a good little while. Got a kick out of Brody.

Also, be prepared for really bad ratings tomorrow since Dancing With the Stars started tonight.

S2 and S3 also had DWTS right after DST, and it remained stable in both seasons. So I'm expecting a redux of last week's 1.6, for better or for worse.

Goofy episode tonight, but I still have a good time with the lightweight ones. I liked Chuck's explanation at the end that it took all three of them to run the Intersect properly. Nice to get a bit more of Big Mike tonight. Very curious where they're going with the Agent X / Ellie stuff. Could be cool; could be a bit of a train wreck. We shall see!

Glad I wasn't the only one who caught that. Man I miss the O.C.

I really enjoyed tonight's episode. Felt like all aspects of the show were firing on all cylinders. Felt kinda like a S2 episode to me.

Maybe I am reading too much into this, but I think the green scanning beam near the end reminded me of something I saw in Star Trek Voyager with the Borg, and Robert Duncan McNeil was part of that show.
