Ok so I finished season 2....


A frustrating season to say the least.
It was horrible to see my Tami Taylor treated so horribly by the demonic entity that is Julie. Seriously what the shit happened to her? :( Now Tyra and Landry were something I thought was totally adorable in the first season and I love both characters respectively so I was looking forward to seeing how it would develop but, I just couldn't shake the murder stuff. I felt better about it towards the end of the season(as I did many other things) but it's definitely my most substancial complaint.

Other things that bugged were Matt/Carletta and the complete dissapearance of Waverly.


While the season was as I already mentioned frustrating, the show remains stronger than most with some wonderful scenes in the midst of some of the lacking storylines. I did really enjoy anything Eric/Tami. Also Tim who I found myself growing quite attached to.

ah i still remember the first time i saw S2E1 and just stared at Julies boobs. i was amazed at how big they looked. but Lyla is still hotter =)
 
I wish I could get a good screencap of that scene with Saracen, Smash, Riggins, and Street getting drunk on the field. SWAGGER ON A HUNDRED, THOUSAND, TRILLION.
 
rewatched the first couple of episodes, I still remember me thinking I would fucking hate smash and riggins but they turned out to be my favorite characters.

Same here, like i wrote before, at first i hated Tim, but now (i'm at episode 12) he is one of my favorite, i love how he "grow up" as a character, in this 12 eps
 
Without S2, we would have never gotten maybe the BEST scene in the entire show. People in the know know what I'm talking about. Episode 14, awwwwww yeeeeeaaaahhhhh.

Got caught up in some stuff, watching episode 6 now.

I thought this was one of the weakest of the season IIRC...
 
I love this show, me and mi wife watch it every friday (it airs friday nights here in Mexico), still on the third season but we've watched since the beginning, and we both love it.
 
One of the weaker ones of S1, but still a good episode.

Matty boy growing up :D . Very nice scene between Matt/Julie and then Matt/Coach.

Yup, i finished season 1 and i can easily say that this is now one of the best tv shows i've ever seen, i loved almost every minute of season 1 and the ending was really well done ; )
That said, i just finished watching the first episode of S2 and i really don't know what to think of it. I liked seeing all the guys again, but everything felt kinda "strange", i don't know how to say it better.. Besides
the assassination thing felt really stupid, i don't really know what to think of it and the "new" Lyla seems pretty stupid as well ; D

That said, i'll continue watching it (after sleeping, maybe, it's 5 a.m here D:) and i'll post impression about this new season, hopefully it won't let me down ^ ^

Ohohoho, S2 will stomp on your heart, and love for alot of the characters. Get ready to punch your TV very soon when the

thing gets going.

It gets better in towards the end, and specifically episode 14 has maybe the best scene in the entire show, but as a whole the season falls far below the amazing S1 and the stunningly perfect S3.

On a side note, S3 comes out tomorrow! I'll probably watch the deleted scenes, and then get back on S1.

iuno what episode that is, but as far as i can remember, the best scene was Coach yelling at the other coach from the rival school in the episode with the hurricane

The episode you're describing is There Goes The Neighborhood, and that scene is certainly a contender.

The one I'm talking about is
Saracen's meltdown in the shower
.

Edit: Decided to watch Ep 8. :D :D :D Matty's moving on up.
 
This is a wonderful scene between Coach and Julie (the ping pong one).

And that other scene at the end is certainly...explosive to say the least.

oooh that was that episode? yea that was fucking awesome. any scene in FNL with a strong emotional male ranks up at the top, with Coach being the best of course.
 
So, i just finished watching episode 4 of season 2 and i'm starting to like this season. Only question i have :
Where did Smash's girlfriend go? I mean, i thought their storyline in season 1 was pretty good and now she's just gone without even mentioning her? Same goes for the "Tattoos girl", she was frigging hot

Going to Uni now, will watch some more tonight
 
I've watched probably 10 episodes in two days, even missing out on some sleep because I've enjoyed it some much. But I'll say this, Coach Taylor is the fucking man!

Just finished Ep 9, this and the previous episode really hammer home Smash's situation. At first, I kinda hated Smash because he came off as kinda the stereotypical black kid, but you can really see why he's like that as the show goes on.

And...first kiss:D .

Just watched the episode you're talking about and i completely agree with you, that scene was simply perfect, i said before how awesome kyle chandler is, but damn if Zach Gilford isn't a wonderful actor too.
Anyway, ep 14 was really really great, i still think that season 2 isn't nearly as good as s1, but this particular ep was seriously one of the best of the show.

Don't worry dude, S3 will completely undo any ill-will you have towards the show, and go even further and easily beat out S1.

Not that S1 is a slouch, it's a goddamn nearly perfect season, but S3 is perfect. Goddamn perfect.

It's my favorite season ever. Of anything.

Edit: Watching Ep 10. The Saracen/Coach stuff in this episode is awwwwwwwesome. And heeeeeeeres Waverly.

The Lyla cheerleading stuff kinda brings down the episode a bit.

they are pretty much the show, the other characters just aren't that strong

Re-Love every character that lost you during S2.

Especially Julie. Hell, EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER has an awesome arc during S3.

just bought S3 today. Can't wait to really rewatch this show. Plus since it's only 20 bucks I think I'm gonna have to grab a couple extras and gift them out, to kinda browbeat friends into watching this show.

also, thanks for the heads up about Adrienne Palicki. Gonna have to check out the other ladies from the show. I'm under the assumption, though, that the girl who plays Julie really is a teenager still. Is that incorrect?

So many great characters. Eric Taylor IS fuckin amazing. Saracen officially became the man when he said
"No Sir, My Eyes were wide open".

How can you not like Riggins!? Tim makes me cringe and his decision sometimes, but he does always seem to rise to the occasion. Buddy Garrity plays his part flawlessly as well.
 
So, I'm going through the S1 Disc 2 deleted scenes, and theres one in particular thats pretty awesome.

Its where Smash asks Saracen to borrow some money T_T.
 
Just watched ep 4 of Season 3 and all i have to say is wow, probably my favorite episode ever and i don't feel ashamed to say that i nearly (nearly, lol) cried at the end

God dam, Smash's face at the end of that episode is the happiest, most beautiful face you could make. I had to replay it a couple times to take it all in.
