I think map preference depends a fair bit on your style of play (and different strokes for different folks, of course), but Crash is my favorite. Vacant feels pretty cramped (which I suppose is the point), so I end up spending a lot of time outside. Overgrown is tough for me to handle because of all the sniping, but I'm getting better with it.

OK my clan finally ran into some campers last night. First game against another clan we destroyed them 750-260 on Crash. In this game they did not camp. The next game was a different story. They must have had quite the team meeting between matches because their entire gameplan changed.
The following 3 games they set up camp all over the map. It was obvious all 6 were spreading out on purpose. I'd say all were lying prone at some point.
The next 3 matches were much closer but with teamwork we snuffed out all the campers and in the end won all the matches.
Campers can easily be beat with teamwork. Individualy they will piss you off but as a team they can be beat.

If anyone needs to get into the beta... Gamespot is giving them out. I guess you can make as many accounts as you want to get a key. The key's aren't tied to your gamertag you put in on the site.

This setting gives me consistent positive scores, and is well suited to smart and methodical gameplay. It's harder to have glory moments though.

Russian machine gun
handle
stopping power
deep impact
Not every situation is good for this setup, but when the conditions are right, you can completely tear up the other team. You just have to play smart, and not committ youself to inappropriate situations.

Camping doesn't bother me at all It's part of the game. That being said I take an anti-camping kit in Overgrown (which is the biggest camping map available yet)
Silent M4, UAV jammer and Extreme conditioning.

Too many times, my position is compromised because of my teammates spawning near me, but that's why I'm constantly on the move after hitting the known camp spots.

I pretty much just circle the maps and come around on the snipers backsides, it's a lot of fun
My man! I also must point out that I like to pick up either another M4 for a secondary, or a sniper rifle for some quick snipes before moving on to another location, and I almost always wait for the enemy UAV to go up, as it gives people a false sense of security.

I know a lot of people complain about the Air Strikes and Helicopters and as I was playing today I got thinking that maybe kills you get with the Air Strike shouldn't count towards your kill streak, to get you the helicopter. They should definitely count as your kills, but not towards your streak, making it a tad bit more difficult to call in the Helicopter that will likely score you 2-3 more kills.

Or worse yet another airstrike. I've done that. I get an airstrike and get killed before I can launch. I then go about looking for others to kill (with AS in tow) and then once I get about 2 more kills, I launch an AS thus getting me the 3-4 more kills needed for yet another AS.

To Canadians looking for tokens, Gamespot is still giving them away.
I've played enough of it now, game is good fun. It certainly does make a big difference to get the red dot sights going. Those m16 iron sights are a pain. And you know I didn't realize you could use your UAVs, air strikes, or helicopters even if you died before getting them off? Good to know, because getting helicopters really lets you run away with the game in Free for all mode.
Has anyone had success with sniper rifles in FFA mode? Without camping? I would be curious to know how, because I haven't bothered with the Sniper Rifle challenges yet. And how good a streak have people gotten in FFA mode?
I don't believe Juggernaut is in the same perk pool as last stand.
While I am rarely killed by last stand, it is very annoying, and that is something I suppose. But that's only because the perk is kinda bullshit. The invincibility time is kinda stupid. I've fired an uzi for about a second at someone who has just gone down, didn't die. Now I'm out of ammo, and he already has his pistol out. It's very surreal to empty maybe a third of your clip into a guy on the ground, and him just be whatever about it. It also fucks up my ability to get headshot kills. Slows me down on the challenges.
